The atmosphere in this game is very spooky! I was expecting a jump scare any moment!

Wow! This has a lot of potential to grow in a full fledge game. I am a big fan of auto-battlers and the puzzle beforehand is a good challenge. A very good use of theme and game design. Well done!

I managed to beat the game with 15300 points and 2 needles. The skull movement was tricky, but fair.  Good job on the jam! 

I would have not considered a rhythm game for this jam's theme. Great job, love the pixel art.

This reminds me a lot of the slay the spire series by GodotGameLabs on YouTube. I think you did a great job making the art assets & enemies fit the theme!

I like the twist on the theme. Instead of reviving people, you repair stuffed animals with the needle! Great job!

I made it all the way to wave 11. When I lost all my minions I was toast! Fun game!

I like how the needle & thread is used to move the necromancer AND combos with the raised skeletons. This has a lot of potential. Great job!

This game has awesome artwork. The black, white, and red color palette is striking! Great job.

I loved summoning the minions! I like the three variations. The first time I played, I was unlucky enough to not get any leg drops lol. But on my second playthrough I didn't have that issue. Great game! 

The visuals are awesome and the skeletons are adorable. Great game! 

Great job on the jam! I think the attack sprite animations are great! This was a very cool moment in the game.

Great art and polish. My only complaint is that jump is mapped to shift and I died a couple of times to sticky keys lol. You should be proud of your game!

Thank you for such positive feedback! I am extactic to hear you enjoyed our game!

50 prisoners is a pretty good score! There are 72 prisoners (including Randy),  so you are getting the majority of them out! Randy is randomly placed amoung the 3 cell blocks. During our testing, we found that some cell blocks had an easier time getting Randy out than others because of how the guards were patroling. 

If we were ever to pursue making more levels for this game, I would definitely add more silly commands like 'Sad Vegetable"!  Like you mentioned, its a lot to take in at first, and you're not quite sure what to do. If we had more time, I would have liked to give the player more feedback on if a command was recognized or not.

Hey Fun Base Alpha, I'm glad you got a chance to play our game! I completely agree with your ideas. 

Some of our initial concepts included making the prison more maze like or having keywords open 1 gate, and close another. Unfortunately, these ideas did not make it into the final game jam release.

Something we noticed while testing, is that you can trap the guards in the center room with good timing. This prevents the prisoners from being captured and would give you a higher score!

This is a phenominal take on the prompt. Very satisfying once you figure out the best way to solve the puzzles. Great job!

This game has some great potential! I would love to see maybe one or two more enemy types, even if its just Goblins with different weaponry.
