This was a solid top-down shooter. I do appreciate how the dice theme and randomization are subtle in the core gameplay loop, it’s kind of refreshing to have a more skill-based entry in this jam.

The only things I have to say is that I was getting a bit confused/frustrated on why I kept rolling 1s and 2s, not knowing you need to collect guns before you can “switch” between them. I also wish the enemy hitbox extended up to the head more. And that the teleporter between floors would need an interact button; strafing between enemies only to accidentally go to the next floor was not fun.

That was a pretty smart twist to rolling dice. It made for a fairly decent puzzle experience, even if I had trouble understanding how exactly I passed the last stage.

Only thing was, unfortunately, the fifth level start glitching out for me. I died normally, but as soon as I would respawn, I would die instantly again. Eventually after pressing reset enough times, it just skipped that stage entirely? It didn’t happen on a second playthrough, so I don’t know how to recreate that bug.

Thank you for playing!

We know the level just ends, there were plans to have more segments of the endless level spawn, but we couldn’t figure that out in time. Whenever you slow down too much or collide with a wall, we also planned on bringing up a score menu, but, again, we unfortunately couldn’t make it.

While, yes, this may be far from professional work, all three of us are new to Godot, and we consider this a success due to how much we learned. We’re thankful we could even get a working prototype.

Have you downloaded all of the project files available for download, and can you attempt to open the game on another computer? It seems to work for some computers, but not all.

If you could gives us error codes, that’d be nice as well.
