Hmmm. my best guess is that the Christmas event wasn’t finished yet, you can’t start a new event until the last one was finished.

This 14th there will be a special update, that will bring the Valentines Day event, and some tweaks, and by the start of March, the next update having the story that is currently available on 0.2.18 will release.

It appears by default due to a bug I forgot again to revisit, lol. It unlocks when anything inside it unlocks, like finishing one of the full chapters, or doing the christmas stuff. If its not working, load a random save near the end of chapter 1 or 2, and skip until the next one start. It should unlock the Special Gallery

In full detail: This NTTS guy made a youtube video with a lot of misinterpretation and misinfo about our Discord server, and then the game (Strange, the only invite link was inside the game itself) and our server got raided with a lot of kids spamming porn and reporting it. Now its gone. The itchio page was gone for some months too, they reported that there was NSFW content of Lisa, which is untrue. Now the itchio moderation team reviewed our game and page and realized that the mass reports were full of bullshit. In the meantime, we made our own website to host our game and future games from now on.

Also, no need to 1-star the game just to ask what was the incident. If I didn’t went into detail at first its because it’s not important anymore, we can continue working on our game now, and forget about clickbait youtubers.

Hello people! When itchio unbanned this page, they forgot to also unban my account, so I couldn’t write comments and answer your questions here until it was resolved.

I’m really happy with the itchio moderation team, they reviewed the game, and took in mind the CONTENT of the game, rather than the baseless accusations we got thanks to certain nothingburger clickbait video. So, kudos to them!

Still, after what happened we want to continue doing what we do the best, but also, we need to protect our project some more. That’s why we are going to only update the game on our official site, to promote it. (bug-fixing updates will still come to itchio if they affect chapter 1 and 2, of course.)

Anyways, thanks a lot! Thanks to every player who is still with us, or just found out about this game and gave it a try!

It actually unlocks after finishing a chapter, or anything in the special gallery in general.

It takes effect by the next dialog that uses a non-standard dialog bubble (thoughts, tutorial, narration, etc…) I don’t remember if loading an older save from before the fix re-breaks the window again or not tho…

Many people told me that the Russian translation was really bad and it was preferable to just read the game on English, so I deleted it. A new Russian translation is/was in the works (and many others) but now the Discord server is gone. Making a new place for the translators is in my to-do list in a short term.

Probably you installed the game without deleting an older version first. Its a common problem

Possible ‘solutions’ that don’t involve waiting for other’s to update their code…

A) Making a separate version with static images and NO Live2D

B) Instead of using the Live2D plugin, export the animation as a sequence of PNGs images, reanimating them on RenPy itself (A bit laggier and bigger file size)

C) The same, but with 2 versions, one animated frame by frame, and another with actual Live2D animations

D) Ignore and just say “Well, try using a PC or a different phone! LOL!!1!”

A and C means a lot of work for me to maintain both versions, and prone to bugs I may not notice with that much stuff going on.

B Seems the best one, it keeps the best of both worlds, and only adds SOME work on my back, but also makes the game heavier in the long term

D Is the easiest for me, but even when many players can just try other devices, not all of them can. And I will feel bad for them, even if it’s a very small percentage.

I will continue working on 0.2.9 for supporters during the rest of the week/month, and see again what I can do regarding the Live2D thing and those very specific Android users. (I always test the game on my crappy phone and never had issues, not even with this update)

I’m on it, It seems that the new Live2D animations aren’t compatible with Androids with a 86_64 architecture (Mostly Chromebooks, ASUS, and most smartphones made by Chinese manufacturers). I’m working on some kind of solution, or maybe have 2 different Android versions, which is harder to maintain but its a possible solution too.

All right, I THINK I solved the issue, but I don’t have a Mac to test it, Tomorrow (Sep 23th) I will upload a fix to this and some other minor stuff. Thanks for the report and sorry for that error.

Ok, that’s very weird. Go to the game’s folder and delete these 2 files: game/Script/test.rpy game/Script/test.rcpy

It seems you installed the game over a older version of it, make sure to extract the game on a clean folder.

What Android version it is? Try uninstalling old versions before installing this one

That means its being targeted by an antivirus or Windows, add the game to a whitelist, check google.

SOME old saves break in that part after this update. Sorry. If you are in mobile, always delete the app’s cache when uninstalling after a bug, that usually helps in cases like this.

Anyways, in a couple of days, there will be a new public update, any trace of that bug is fixed
