Good critique, the game definitely needs a better introduction to the mechanics. If you wanted to know, the sodas boost your tips. I'd hoped players would think carefully about the routes they took to deliver to maximize their tips. Which would tie into the theme of tip "size", bigger being better. Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks! They're from a Synty studios asset pack I tweaked the textures on.

Awesome review, glad you got what I was going for. You're right the deliveries are too hard. If you want to make the coffee delivery you can jump onto the top of the shop, and dash across with Shift. You can also infinitely wall jump up the apartment by running into the wall and spamming spacebar. Though it's a bit inconsistent on that wall. Next time I'll make a better tutorial :-)
- Thanks!

thanks! You’re #4 on the leaderboard, there’s a bug where it only updates when the game starts

Honestly I just snagged it from the pate bin link in this tutorial.

It's really fun when you start getting momentum. I was bad at that, so there were some frustrating parts where I was just wall jumping back to somewhere I could go fast. The art was great, and the music really fit the theme. I especially liked the in-air animations. Well done!

Impressive! I'm surprised you got so much content in, the visuals are very cohesive, the story is solid, and it sounds good. Very well polished.

Love the idea, the mechanic is original and infuriating in a good way. Would love to hear some sounds! Also love the retro style!

It was interesting!

Everything comes together well for a solid puzzle experience. Especially loved the UI, sounds, and music. The visuals were effective, and the puzzles escalated in difficulty well. Good game and well polished! Would have liked a fast forward button in some situations.

Very interesting on a technical level, I'm impressed you got this done in 9 days. Soundtrack was good. It was a little hard to aim the spells. It was a lot of fun to mess with the AI. Good use of the wildcards. Well done!

Solid soundtrack. Some really nice touches like the characters floating up after they die. Could use a little polish and bug fixing, but it was impressive how many features you managed to get in. Well done!

Gorgeous pixel art, I love the way mechanics are introduced, and the whimsy of the game. Well done, and well polished!

Holy, is that you with the 200k?!

Thanks! The high scores are there, unfortunately there's a bug where it only loads when you start the game.

Love the visual style - it's hard to make 2.5D work but you did. The track is also fire. Would love to see it taken a bit further with different enemy types and whatnot. Well done!

Good use of assets, the wireframe style was effective at communicating the necessary info. I think there may be a bug where the missiles fly behind buildings. Otherwise I had a good time with this one.

Love the cute aesthetic, being able to play as a pirate penguin brought me joy. Some interesting elements of mastery. The controls page was a bit confusing. Otherwise well done!

Great use of the assets, and well done scoping / polishing the game. It was a fun experience and reminded me of playing typing games growing up.

Fun to control, a bit of a brain teaser trying to remember where the platforms are. The visual style was very effective. I'd like to see a few more puzzle elements or have the game lean into the switching a bit more. A few bugs - notable the controls stopped working after pausing with esc. Well done!

Really cool concept, it's a brain-twister trying to track which key fires in which direction. Fits the theme of simple to understand but hard to master. Also has a nice level of polish - especially with details like the screen transition!

Awesome! I hope you ya'll continue to make games - this was def. better than my first game.

Charming! Nothing like beating up kids with a frying pan while I tell text my gf to sod off

Cool concept, I enjoyed the music and sfx. I'd like to see the difficulty ramp a little harder, but otherwise solid experience

Fun party game, would love to try it with a group. Reminds me of Fall Guys and Pokemon Stadium

Took me a minute to realize just going for a high score - once I caught on it was a lot of fun.  A real nail biter

Very addictive, love all characters. Very challenging but I'm into it. Not sure if the game starting during menu was a bug or not, but it really sold the "Shoot non-stop" element of the game

Love the art style, and the rock - paper - scissors tactics. I was really bad at this one, but feel encouraged to come back and play it again. Well done!

It was fun to whip a minigun and sword. There's a lot of different elements and emotional tones. The contrast of which made it interesting to experience. Well done

Cohesive design - great use of the assets. I'd like a play button between levels so I can give me wrist a break. Otherwise very well polished and well scoped. -Edit- There's a pause a button! Nevermind

Love the art style, and the sfx / music are just right for the tone. Ladders were a little sluggish to use, but that may be intended to add elements of mastery. Well done!

Well scoped and polished. Could use a few more UI elements - like how much HP I have left and a bit of explanation about the upgrades when I'm selecting them. Otherwise fun mechanics, will likely come back and finish this one when I have time.

Very well polished, with a good gameplay loop.

Really enjoyed this one, it was relaxing but also challenging

Solid take on the theme, with well designed levels

I really enjoyed being able to parry attacks

I like how the game toys with the 4th wall. Also, hyperventilating is OP
