Slick stuff Joe. Does the gulf between the planets grow each delivery?

The music really complements the gameplay, and I found it compelling and enjoyable. I liked that unlike Frogger you could backpedal, and the shield was nicely forgiving. Man, I dislike Frogger. I'd like to see this as a leaderboard / competitive play element, like Chris says, it'd work well as an arcade cab.

Well done Joe!

I thought this was well put together, but I'd liked to have seen a bit more compulsion to play. I was navigating the space with no sense of peril or urgency... until the payoff. It's the game that has made me think most about the jam situation and context, I just would have liked more game-like-elements. Some way of interacting with the NPCs.

As you say though, this is an early build. It's clear that the tech infrastructure is there, well done!

I wasn't as adept as Chris. I failed to avoid them. Without a reticule my shooting was way off. The game scared me. I enjoyed it though!

This felt like a schmup squeezed into the theme...

But I played, and I kept playing, and I killed the boss, and I kept playing, and playing. Its quite a chill game. I very much enjoyed the collecting mechanisms, but I get the feeling there's a bit of scope creep going on. Was boost useful? I think I was buying stuff? Were the later weapons balanced. What was I supposed to do with the other ships - avoid them?

I found this a god experience though, it scratched my schmup-itch.

I thought this was pretty slick. The section by section navigation of the ship was good, but I have to admit that I didn't initially clock that you couldn't be in the same section. Could that be reinforced with more visual cues?

I'd like to see more peril - with the steady two faults appearing I was able to respond in time. I'd like it to be unfair and give more than two, make me prioritise! Clipping might need attention, unless of course that was the section navigation.

I very much enjoyed the sneery comments with the orders. A good jam entry and makings of a good game.

I really liked the artwork, especially the meaty arms and general meat-headed-ness. I was playing it on my lonesome, so I'm not sure I could get the central mechanic to work. The upwards to ready and L/R to strike was cool. Like Chris I died V quick when the chickens fell from the heavens. If you could make it 1P friendly I'd love to play more... Chicken Colloseum!
