Thanks for playing it! Appreciate the feedback. The camera definitely could use a rework.

Thanks!

So freaking good!

Wowzers! Super fun! I love the art on the letters. I felt like a genius once I figured out how to use the letters. I was disappointed when it was over so soon as I felt like I was just starting to learn how to use the letters. XD

Great entry!

That's very kind! Thanks for playing it!

Oh my gosh that's hilarious! I'm so sorry!

Also sorry about the alt-f4, it was done in good faith for the windows build. Didn't intend to have people closing their browsers lol.

Thanks for playing it!

The art is phenomenal and the concept is brilliant but I found this one to be too darn hard! XD

Great work though! This one really has that special sauce!

Thanks! I didn't have time to make good music, so I used bad music and let you kill it. XD

Great work! I loved the setting and the cutscenes. The gameplay concepts were great as well. I loved the anthropomorphized power ups and the idea of the living platforms.

Some people have pointed out that the difficulty is a little steep. I think it would help if the combat areas had a little more verticality to them. A few platforms here and there and maybe some slower moving power ups might make the combat more dynamic.

Overall I really enjoyed this games atmosphere and commitment to storytelling. Great work!

Thanks! I like that we both had similar ideas, funny little eyes popping out of inanimate objects. XD

Thank you! That's very kind!

It's nice of you to appreciate the controls. I wanted the player to feel kind of like an observe, influencing events, rather than "possessing" different characters. I think the controls help to convey that sensation, but I think they would benefit from some quality of life improvements. Perhaps letting the camera track and orbit the selected objects etc.

Thanks for playing it!

Thanks!

Thanks for playing it!

Thanks for playing it! Yeah the camera has come in for some justified criticism. I think I should add the option to track the object currently being controlled.

Oh cool! I'll check it out again.

Lovely! The way the sneezes could sneak up on you resulted in some hilarious moments. I intentionally sneezed on the cauldron to see what would happen and sure enough, it came to life and headed for the door. XD

That art direction is great too. I love the cozy Runescape feel. Great game!

Bless you!

Brilliant! Well done!

This is fantastic! I love the little creature designs on the elements. I did have some trouble finding all of the elements. I got to twelve and then couldn't find any more. I just started dragging all of the elements into one corner over and over and still didn't find anymore so maybe it's bugged?

Anyway, I still really enjoyed my time with it. A very simple, but well executed idea. Great work!

Great work! I loved all of the faces hidden in the background. The idea of a bullet hell, tower defense where you have to dodge your own projectiles was a great twist. I really loved all  of the creature designs, especially the little mushroom guys that pop out of the ground.

Thanks so much! That's very kind and helpful. I'll at least add something to the game page!

Will do!

Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Everything is alive? More like "Everything is dead!" pew pew!

Absolutely fantastic, addictive gameplay. I loved the detail of the crosshair taking time to catch up with your cursor serving as an indicator of when you can shoot again. I really felt like I could get into a flow and just throw down! I loved the enemy variety too. It was easy to tell what was what, and who was who.

Great work!

The presentation, game design, concept, it is all stellar! It was so satisfying when a machine would work first try and hilarious when it would, unexpectedly, go horribly wrong. I think this is a great concept you could build on. It would be cool to see the characters power strange machinery to give more context to the in-game actions.

Sooo Good

36 Cookies is absurd, unless there are 36 pavlovs?

Love the artwork!

Is the shop functional? I couldn't figure out what to do with the candy.

I love the concept. The art really conveys uncanny anticipation.

It's great! I love the slightly macabre atmosphere and the goofy sound effects. If I had one point of feedback it would be that the pedestrians don't really feel like pedestrians. I thought one was a baseball glove at first. :) I like their design but they might work better if they had more obvious faces. I loved the comically small, cyclops cops.

Great work!

Thanks!

Fantastic Work!

Thank you! I hadn't heard of "How Fish is Made". I see it's from the developer of Mouthwashing, I'll have to check it out.

Appreciate the feedback on the fog. I had wanted to make it so that the fog would diminish as you climbed higher and higher. Just one of the many things that got cut for time.

I hope to keep working on the project to add in some of the things I had wanted but just didn't have time for.

Thanks again for playing it!

Aw, sweet! I'm looking forward to seeing more!

The readme is UNHINGED! XD

The finest spaghetti code experience. It does seem to be a little broken but I really like the idea of a wave shooter in a medieval setting. I also did this:

That alone makes this a fantastic experience!

Super fun! I could never quite figure out what the pink heart was going to do. Nonetheless, I always seemed to find some sort of solution. Really creative little game, great work!

Thanks for playing it!

Fluid, intuitive movement, great work! It reminds of a game I played a while back called "Brute". Similarly difficult and mesmerizing gameplay. I always loved the momentum based movement in Asteroids. I read that this is also your first completed jam game. Congratulations!

Thanks so much for playing it and for leaving such thorough feedback! In the current version, the crows simply serve as a way to guide the player. I do like the idea of them doing something more though.

I appreciate the honesty about getting lost. While part of the intended experience, I'd like to make the intended path a little more obvious.

The flashlight is indeed useless :) I added it at the last minute and thought it was kind of fun so I left it in.

Thanks again for playing it!

Best start game screen ever!
