This reminds me of the game Element Merge, but with a good art style and a lot less elements. (which is probably for the better) I really liked how the different elements interacted with each other, like how so many things were scared of fire. I did manage to 100% it, but I do feel like it becomes trial and error once you start to get a lot of elements.

Being able to see what elements I can make, but not being told how to would allow me to try to think of what elements I need to combine to create them, instead of just trying different combinations until something happens. Or instead of that it could be that the game shows when an element has no more new combinations it's a part of, so it narrows down what elements I should experiment with.

Regardless of if you consider the suggestion or not, the game is very good and quite enjoyable.

Thanks for such feedback!
Yeah, I thought about marking elements that don’t have combinations (like alcohol) as final, but I didn’t have time to do it. That’s also why there are only 25 of them
Honestly, there’s a lot I’d like to add - like making the elements move on their own instead of only reacting to each other - but I barely managed to finish the menu by the deadline, haha
Glad you liked it anyway!

I ADORE THIS GAME. It's so polished and cute, the art is so amazing, the element designs are so goofy and silly. The blinking sound effect is so cute. It's Little Alchemy but SOOOOO MUCH BETTER!

This. THIS, is the BEST game of the jam, congratulations for making this excellent game!

Very clean, cute and well done all around. It’s kind of a shame that it’s so simple and there’s not a lot of stuff to make (at least from what I’ve seen, that won’t impact my score)

Developer

Thank you!
Yeah, we didn’t have time to add many elements. We might finish the game after the jam

This is fantastic! I love the little creature designs on the elements. I did have some trouble finding all of the elements. I got to twelve and then couldn't find any more. I just started dragging all of the elements into one corner over and over and still didn't find anymore so maybe it's bugged?

Anyway, I still really enjoyed my time with it. A very simple, but well executed idea. Great work!

Thanks for your comment, glad you liked it!
As for the pile of items – most likely, while you were dragging them there, they combined randomly, removing the chance to find combinations with elements that disappeared in the process
