Closing submissions here. My backlog is way too full and I need some time to play all of these games. Thank you everyone for sending me your games, and I'll make sure to get through them all!

I liked the creepiness of the game, it had me on the edge of my seat for a bit when I started playing it for the first time! Unfortunately, some of the settings were not working for me, or they were but I didn't notice any differences when I applied the changes. I also wish the game was a bit longer and utilized the kitchen area a bit more, as I seem to only want to walk in there by chance and there wasn't anything important to do there besides looking at a drawing.
Making a game like this in one day is a lot of work, and I think you did a good job with what you put out here!
I think this was a good first try at making a game! The movement could use some work, as it isn't entirely fluid and will sometimes move diagonally if I am still holding the W key and I let go of either the A or D key. A timer would have also been helpful to implement in the game so that I know how much time I have left to go out and scam people, as well as some sound cues to let me know who bought my scheme and who didn't. Some optional suggestions to think about as well is instead of leaving the selling part up to chance, maybe implement some sort of dialog system where you have to select a choice in order to convince the person to buy into your scheme, otherwise the only way to get a high score in this game is just based on pure luck.
Good job at making your first game! I hope you end up making more games in the future!
Funny little game! I will say that some of the speakers were kind of in dark areas, and with some being super tiny some people might have a little trouble finding them. I liked the idea of talking with the characters and using them to reveal the location of speakers! I wish there was a bit more sound like footsteps or some ambiance in the game, as it felt really quiet for me. Good game, I got a chuckle out of it!
I feel like this game could do better as a puzzle type game rather than a platformer. The walljumping was a bit nice, however it was a bit jank at times and I didn't like how a lot of the game's levels relied on a lot of walljumping to progress the level. There were some parts in the game that were just too loud and I had to turn down my volume all the way to 20%, and even then it still felt pretty loud. It's very challenging and while I may not be particularly good at platformers, I can see others enjoying this kind of game! Well done!
This game was a very short and simple collecting game! I like how you had to arrange the parts in order to complete the game, and it wasn't just "Go collect the stuff and you win" type of game. Like most people, the one major flaw this game has is no sound and I wish there was at least one sound effect in this game, even if its something simple as a jump sound. I love your character and the animations it does, and I feel like this game could use either some randomness or some more levels.
Like a couple of people here, I also had a difficult time trying to figure out how to dodge the bullets. It took a little bit of testing but I figured out that the dash makes you immune to the bullets. Maybe include something that lets you know of this instead of relying on the player risking a level restart. This was a good game nonetheless and I got some enjoyment out of it!
Playing this game was a very spooky good time! I loved the fact that you needed to keep two different characters alive at a time and that you had to plan ahead for each environment. The 3D sound was especially cool and is pretty much essential to succeeding in this game. I wish it was a little brighter since I could not see a whole lot when one of the enemies got close to me, which resulted in me button mashing a lot hoping to live. It's also very difficult, but I consider that a good thing. I am amazed at how much you accomplished in a short amount of time! Fantastic work!
Very cute game about a very mischievous eel who wants nothing to do with any hooks, instead he pushes his problems onto other fish! I didn't like how the game was entirely windowed, as it got pretty annoying to accidentally click out of the game, so maybe include an option to make the window bigger or set it to fullscreen. This game's mechanics are also amazing and I deeply enjoyed my time spent on this game. 10/10 would fish again!
This was a very fun game to play, I really enjoyed smiting my foes or whoever dared speak blasphemous remarks about me, it added a lot of fun to the game. I wish the interactions between the people were more often, as the game felt pretty slow since all the characters had this huge map to roam around and it prevented a lot of interactions from happening often. This was some great stuff, I would definitely play this again if I am feeling a bit bored!
Very interesting game. I liked the whole starting with all your abilities and replaying the level with each ability being taken away from you. I feel like there could have been some footstep sounds and a bit of a better main menu UI to start the game. Regardless, this was a pretty fun Platformer and I hope to see this concept expanded further with either multiple levels or something else.
I think this was a pretty good prototype of a game, and I think it could be expanded on. One thing I noticed was that this game was packaged with the debug tools inside the game, so I was able to freecam and look through the entire level to find the codes with no consequences whatsoever. My advise is to make sure that the packaging settings are set to shipping instead of development to prevent players from abusing those tools. I also got softlocked in the fridge, and had to quit the game twice because of that. Overall, I think this game can do well storywise, it just needs a bit more added to it.
Good job with this game!
Really awesome game! I like how you force the player to look at every single room to see what items are there and to see that there are multiple rooms that you have to search when the game starts. I also like the difficulty select screen was part of the cutscene, that was very creative! I really see this game doing very well in this jam and would be very surprised if it wasn't at least a top contender for this jam! Amazing work!
Amazing work! I really liked the clone mechanic and how you used it to complete the many levels. The controls felt really smooth and the game was well paced. I wish the clone control mechanics were a bit clearer as I didn't know how to control the clone at first, but this is a must play for anyone looking to play a very epic game jam game!
This was a very interesting experience! I liked how you used the post processing effects and modified the player character at times to give a dream like state. I wish I kinda spent a little more time looking around in some areas, as I feel like I missed some things. I also wish the game was a little bit more optimized for how short the game was, maybe reduce some of the textures or baked lighting? Overall good experience!
Fun game! I enjoyed that there was a bit of destruction physics while driving your car and that added on to the fun. I loved the car controls an how they felt, but I didn't like how the car camera operated and I had to repeatedly get out of the car to just figure out where the next objective was, since I wasn't allowed to look up and down while I was inside the car. I think this was a good game nonetheless!
I liked the original soundtrack! The game does feel a little unfair at some parts, like the fact that if the cat's tail touches a spike then that counts as a death. Controlling the cat also didn't feel that great or was weird, sometimes the cat would jump normally and sometimes it would speed boost into the air, or sometimes it would just stop completely. I think regardless you did a good job for this game, just needs a bit of tweaking!
This was a very unique puzzle game! I like the use of mirrors to help tell you the colors you need to press on the door to open it, and it felt very satisfying to see that door open. The only minor things I noticed was your player controller still moved a bit even after I let go of the W key, and that the movement wasn't smooth and looked choppy. Other than that, great puzzle game!
I liked the whole vibe of the game being inside a creepy stone labyrinth, and I liked the mechanic of relying on your flashlight to see fake walls. I did like the fact I was able to change my sensitivity, since the game's default was way too high for my liking. I can see potential in your games lighting mechanic and I hope you expand on it a bit more in the future! Good job on a first jam submission!
I enjoyed this game. The graphics in this game are very fitting to the mood of this game, and some of the faces made me chuckle a bit! I like how there are different difficulties in this game, and the details get harder and harder to figure out as you go on. Overall, really polished and great game jam game!
