Meow~ I love this

This game was awesome!! Love the atmosphere and mystery of the story.

The puzzles were fun and I liked how you had to go through multiple loops to figure things out. I also liked how the player had to think.

My one suggestion would be to make the areas just a tad smaller since it was a little difficult to explore a lot in just one minute.

Impressive presentation and amazing game overall :D Definitely interested in a sequel.

This game is pretty fun and I like the memory game mechanic.

I would personally love to see a story tied to this to set it apart from similar games!

Great work! :D

Love the concept! Super relatable from childhood >_< lol

It was pretty difficult to click the pieces of trash cause they were really small, it felt like the amount of precision needed was pretty rough considering you needed to pick up more trash than shirts or books.  I had trouble telling between the shirts and books at first but eventually figured it out.  I wasn't able to get more than 16-17 objects total :(

The menu was really nice! Overall I enjoyed it and it was addicting

Really impressive presentation! Love the club and the vibe.  The concept of a loop is awesome as well.

For the drone minigame, the mouse controls felt pretty sensitive and combined with the inverted axis it seemed pretty difficult to complete in one minute- I wasn't able to complete it myself.  I would also suggest adding subtitles for the robotic voice, it was kind of hard to tell what it was saying sometimes due to the effects.

Overall I loved it though!! Excellent work on the cutscenes!

thanks so much! Just played yours and commented :D

Really fun game! Very addicting. Love the jump mechanics and how the gameplay fits into the theme of the jam.

Would be really cool to see other levels as well.

thanks so much for the review!! I will give you feedback as well as soon as I get the chance  ^_^

thank you so much for the feedback!! :)

Hi everyone! I wrote a short visual novel for this jam and would love to get some feedback on it.

I am happy to exchange reviews as well! I want to check out everyone else's games. <3

Here's a link to my game:

Thanks for reviewing my game! I left you a review as well :D

I really enjoyed this! I liked how the protagonist was an antihero and that the objective was to act like yourself, which you learned through multiple playthroughs. It was also interesting to see why the protag ended up there.

I also thought the dialogue was very entertaining haha  Nice work!

Just had a few points of feedback!:

  • I think it would have been really cool to interact with medical records or other objects that revealed details about the situation like a detective game.
  • There were a few typos fyi! (The word indifferent)
  • I would love to play this again and see an epilogue or what happens to the main character!

Overall, great job!

Thanks so much for the feedback! :D Appreciate it.

Hi Maddie! I can try to help and fix this issue but I need some more info.

which version are you playing ? If you’re playing on browser, what browser are you playing on?

If you were playing on mobile, it may not be compatible.

Thanks,

Em

This was an awesome game! I enjoyed the characters and writing!!

One point of feedback I have is that the shaky, rainbow effect made some of the text unreadable for me. It was a really cool visual effect, but I found it really difficult to read some of the dialogue.

I'd love to see a continuation of this game! Good work :)

Interesting concept!

Loved this! I enjoyed the nonlinear storytelling and interactive elements in the game. The art is great.

The plot and setting is very unique. I really like the amount of choices you can make. The QTE timers added quite a bit of suspense too.

I got all of the endings!!

Overall, excellent job with this game!

SPOILERS

Wow I did not expect those twists!! Definitely not what I predicted. I loved that I couldn't tell who was sus. lol Until -- certain endings of course. I love Violet <3

thank you so much!  I’m glad you enjoyed it :)  I started writing this as a traditional horror story but decided to go the psychological/real world angle!

thank you!! ^^

I just watched the video!! It was awesome, loved the voices and commentary :)

yes I agree!!! I haven’t had time to play too many games yet but I’m going to try and go through them this month. Every one I’ve played has been unique!

I’m so glad I did the jam cause it got me inspired to work on my main game ^_^

You and your team did great work!!

Wow!! Thank you so much for taking to time to cover this and write out this comment! I really appreciate the honest and helpful feedback :D  The thumbnail for the video is so cool! I can't wait to watch it!! <3

I'm glad you enjoyed the story. Initially, this was going to be more of a traditional horror survival story, but I decided to go the psychological angle. :D

For the UI, I used a Tyranobuilder prebuild and I'll tweak it and release a future update. As for the mistakes, I will look into that and edit those! I apologize for those errors, I made this in a very short timeline and deadline. I will make sure to make those updates!

I wish I would have had more time to make a longer title, but maybe I could continue this! I also left one of the endings open to that route. haha

I'm really glad you liked my game :D There will be more!!

I think it's fine not to feature romance in this title! A Valentine's spinoff would be really cute, though! I'd definitely play.

I'm really impressed with the amount of content in this game for being made in such a short time window!

Cute sprites and the word gameplay was unique!

Incredible game & excellent work! Got 3 bad endings and 1 good one. The writing was amazing and I LOVE Nyari's character and would love to see more of her (DLC?! or maybe she has an ending I didn't discover... :O ) . I really want to go back and see the different endings.

I think having side stories related to the calls is really cute and unique!

The concept and choices made this a very unique experience. The art, story, voice acting, audio implementation, and everything is really polished and on point.

This was so cute!! I want to hang out with the Mothdude lol. Great writing and the ending was really interesting!

Thanks so much :D Glad you got that ending!! ^^

Thank you so much for playing!! :D

I'm glad that feature worked out! I was struggling on how to make a chat box/window in the program so decided on that.

I really enjoyed this game! Nice work. The point and click gameplay was fun and the animations were so smooth. This game was legitimately terrifying too.  I had to look away from my screen when some of the drawers opened LOL.

Without spoiling, I got one ending that was a unexpected twist! O_o

One thing is that I'd love to know more details about the backstory of the setting and the protagonist! Maybe I'll learn more once I attempt more endings?

Overall, great job!

Thanks so much for playing!! :D  appreciate the feedback.

Thank you so much for providing these packs! I used this and a few other packs for the Halloween visual novel game jam. Beautiful art work! :D I gave you credit as well.

Thanks so much! I really appreciate your feedback. Chapter 2 (in the form of a demo) is on its way!

Thank you :)

Hey! Sorry it doesn't work on Chrome for you. I can look into the problem and reupload the game. I just tried it on my browser and it worked past that point, maybe there is an error with a certain version of Chrome?  I will look into the error and see if I can fix it.

I'm really glad you enjoy the game so far! <3 Thanks so much for trying it out! :)

Thank you so much for your rating and review! I am really glad you enjoyed the demo :)

I'm excited to develop this game further.

Thanks for the video playthrough too!!
