This was an awesome game! I enjoyed the characters and writing!!

One point of feedback I have is that the shaky, rainbow effect made some of the text unreadable for me. It was a really cool visual effect, but I found it really difficult to read some of the dialogue.

I'd love to see a continuation of this game! Good work :)

So glad you liked it! And thanks for the feedback; we had ran into a few issues with that effect  making things a bit difficult to read so we'll either tone it down or have the dialogue be entirely unaffected.

Once we get that and a few other bugs sorted, we'll think about where to go from there!  Thanks again!

This is SUCH a fun game, I love love love the visuals!  And the horror climax was like, legit scary!  Great job, five stars from me.

Man, the aesthetics in this are beautiful :3 I really love the art style! I think it might be the first VN I've ever played that was made with Godot as well! I know I've played a couple of adventure games made with it, but I'm fairly sure no VNs until now.

Anyways, I was already loving it from the beginning, especially when Nugget was introduced because that's just adorable x3 I don't really want to spoil anything, but I adored the first CG-type scene. Their expressions and then the reveal was great, haha.

And I don't really know how to describe it but the atmosphere was kinda filled with building despair/sense of foreboding but also somewhat calming? I don't know the best way to word it, but I liked how it made me feel. Relaxed and yet kinda nervous at the same time, haha.

Oh, and I totally wasn't sat there getting excited about a manatee in the shop that turned out to be a walrus or anything x3

Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it, especially the atmosphere!

Honestly, when Rex pulled up rolled up with the concept art, character designs and aesthetic, I was blown away as well LOL.

As for Godot, I always liked how lightweight it is compared to Unity and Unreal, and it's a lot more versatile for other sorts of games than Ren'PY so I wanted to give it a shot! Spent more time building VN systems than we had planned but no regrets.

That was a delight to experience. I really enjoyed how the story dragged and build up that unsettling feeling. I also really liked the visual style you all went for! Good job -M

Thank you!

Very addictive reading! I love the small town realness and the spooky stuff was genuinely creepy!
