2D is a base template, if you want to add VFX you must use the POST-PROCESSING package.

URP (Universal Render Pipeline) is a rendering system which basically has built in Post Processing and some other cool VFX features.

you have to compress the file, because for some reason itch.io doesn't allow folders

I use Unity, but GDevelop is great for beginners. (You don't even need to code)

It works fine now, just had to setup Omnisharp

VSCode has AI code completions, which saves a lot of time (Which is the main reason I switched)

I used to use plain Visual Studio, but I switched to VSCode  because it has more extensions and features

I usually use 2022.3 but my VSCode was acting up so I switched to 2021 just for this project
