Quite addicitive ^^ but the color palette hurt my eyes on a long run. Also the gray enemies are barely visible

The music is ok but the dig sound is awfull.

A lot of potential, would love to get my hands on a more polished version

Nice little puzzle game. Love the difficulty progression

It would be easier to dig the dirt with a single left mouse click, i guess there is no need for a dig mode

Nice implementation of the theme.

It felt overwhelming after reaching level 6 or 7 (i could use a level indicator ^^), maybe you could make smaller levels so the player can more easily figure out all the gameplay possibilities, and there are many, great job on this

Nice game, i beat the boss. Maybe needs some balance on the pace.

The chonk/small cat powers did not change anything
Needs some juice : little scale animations on enemy for example, feedback when hitting but not killing an enemy (especially the boss)

Nice little game, using the shovel as a shield is a great idea. here some feedbacks

  • Add some feedbacks when the player is hit (sound, modulation)
  • I guess there some dissonance between the relaxing music (and the sky bg) and getting shot at with arrows and fireworks

Needs some thalassophobia warning, those fish are quite frightening ^^, great ambiance small camera and pixel shader makes a really oppressive atmosphere, but the game lacks clarity.

Pretty hard, but i like the evade and get your boosts gameplay. here some feedbacks
* Make the character in different colors so it can detach from the bg
* Make some invulnerability frames after getting hit (on wave 2 if you get caught in the big eye attack, it's mandatory death)
* Delay the small eye attack after spawning so the player has time to evade it
* Update the level design so i can go up on the left side of the arena, going bottom left gets you stuck

Is there a way to go up faster than [digging up and up side then jump] <- repeat ? because it felt tedious.
Nice stereo effect on the music and character animation

Harder than the cute graphics would let me think so. Simple and efficient gameplay, GG

Not sure what happened but i wrecked the all place, 100% would do it again

J'adore le 2D/3D, ambiance graphique et musicale super sympa. qq retours
* Je peux facilement demander aux zombies d'attaquer une cible pour lesquels je ne suis pas dans sa zone de detection. C'est une sorte de triche, j'ai fini le jeu a 20 coeurs ^^

* J'aurai aime un feedback graphique et sonore quand je me fais touché

* Quand la horde a +de 40 zomb, c'est compliqué d'avancer ^^

NIce atmosphere. The main control issue that i have is when jumping from the edge of a platform, you can't double jump, a short coyote time would be awesome

I was soft lock in the level with the locked door. I guess this jam was a good exercice to focus on collision layers ^^. Cutest wheelbarrow ever

On level2 the (in)famous bug occured and i was stuck even after reloading the game.

About the music I would rater have a longer loop using all the small loops that were made you could have built some progression.

Great theme implementation

Spam those arrows ! Lost 10 sec to figure out what's going on but managed to win. Nice little game

Nice puzzle game, would love to have the minimum moves for each level.

GG for the double use of the shovel (dig and bridge), banger idea

Nice art, music, but the numerous weird interactions between the shovel head, the snowmen, the puzzle and the character swap feels like the game has a too big scope for this jam, would love a much polished version

Funny little versus game, love the winner animation XD

I have the same feeling as @EnotoButerbrodo (see his comment), i would add another feedback, you could reduce the spike collider to make it easier for the player

The low gravity really slows the game and makes the exploration tedious

The collider is a bit rigid and behaves weirdly

Love those monsters :D

I was stuck, then i found out that i could hold the space bar, it's a whole new game now ^^

  •  I would love a modular jump (the longer you press, the higher you go) so i can make small jumps
  • The door collider, to go to next level should be bigger as i have evade it by passing to its right on level 3
  • Lvl4 be like "you shall not pass", "GIT GUD NOOB" ^^
  • The music is a bit repitive on a long run

Some feedback:
I think the player goes too fast, but what i dislike the most is that it doesn't keep its momentum when jumping
I'd rather use arrow keys (right hand) for movement and space for jump, would have make it easier for me
the magic mole is unpredictible and makes it hard to jump on it

the 2nd level design might be too hard for a 2nd level ^^
+1 for godot ;p

The colliders are hard to read and i could use some feedback when i get hit or i hit an ennemy (a simple modulate to red could be enough), nice music :D

The gameplay might be too complex for a 2.5 days gamejam, it takes time to undestand what's going on, but once you get it, many strategies become available

Good gameplay idea, really hard to get a good level design on such little ammount of time, great effort !

I like the cart behaviour and the camera movement but it lacks some kind of counter (distance, time...)

I 100% agree with you, i wanted a "everybody's golf" system, but selecting angle, selecting shovel and starting the shoot bar should be made with one hit on space^^

(1 edit)

Yep there's no information about that.
- White zone = perfect shot
- Red zone  = slight variation to the angle and power
- Totally misses = between 0.6x and 0.8x of your selected power and random angle

(1 edit)

That's the point :D, we aimed at a little replayability, so you can use the right shovel at the right time

edit: I did a little fix on the shoot bar

I definitely agree, there's not enough contrast between foreground and background tiles, especially on level2

(1 edit)

my high score is 9

I FOUND NIMO !!!!

Hi, here some feedback :

* Map the jumb on space bar

* the camera is too slow

* The character has the same color as the background

* Strong zoom  and music really fits the ambiance
