Thanks so much for checking out my gam and for the great feedback :)

Good start, I like your pixel art! Not really sure how it relates to the jam theme however. I would reccomend making the movment less floaty, adding sound effects and music, adding some animations, and building an enemy health system so that it takes a few sword swings to kill them.

Love the art style, and the main mechanic is simple but fun. I would recommend adding some sound effects and music to make it even better!

Nice work, I really like the idea of ordering the dice to create combos. It was a little unclear to me how the combos interact with each other, and I usually resorted to just moving things around until most of the dice were orange. Definitely feels like the game has great potential with some tweaks and cleanups :)

Very cool premise, and awesome art. I would consider adding some kind of visual feedback when dice are missed, for instance maybe play a little animation and highlight in red.

Very fun game, and I really like the art and sound as well. I feel like you could really take this concept to the next level by having a bit more control over the dialog you get so that it feels less out of your control, while still forcing you to deal with the curve balls thrown by the dice.

I really enjoyed your game, a very creative take on the theme. A little later in the game I did find it a little overwhelming with all the changing dice, but the high tension also made it fun. Super well polished as well, loved the graphics and sound.

Very nice work, I've never heard of Ludo before so it was fun to play for the first time. Aside from what the others have mentioned I would recommend adding some sound effects, and turn down the master volume of the music a bit :)

Thanks a lot for checking out my game!

Wow, thanks so much for playing my game and for the detailed feedback! I definitely agree with the first two points, the controls need to be tighter and the enemy ships need less health. As for your third point I think it would be a really good idea to explore, I just worry a bit that getting unlucky at the start would make the run so difficult it would no longer be fun. Still there are ways around that, like one suggestion I've heard would be to add powerups that counter having bad stats, or adding mechanics to re-randomize your stats part way through the game. Or maybe there could be a hard more where the rolls at the start would be much more impactful, and then a normal/ easy mode more similar to what I have now. Anyways all really good points, thanks again!

Thanks a lot for checking out my game! Durning the jam I discovered that my game was too easy so I went too far in the other direction and made it too difficult haha. It's a good leason for next time though :)

A very soothing and relaxing game, I enjoyed going through the levels. The game has a ton of polish and is a really nice take on theme. Have to agree with some of the other commenters that I brute forced my way through some of puzzles, but I still had a lot of fun.

Wonderful game, the art and music go really well together. The main mechanic is put together very well. Like the others mentioned there are a few bugs, and at first I had trouble understanding how to attach abilities to the dice. This could easily become a full fledged game I would buy on steam :)

(1 edit)

Super fun game! I loved how rolling the dice got you out of sticky situations, but forced you to give up your (potentially very good) weapon

Ohh very nice, I like the music a lot. I had a similar issue with my game where the music didn't work

I had a lot of fun with your game, a nice twist on tetris to fit the jam theme. I found the subtract dice to be sometimes a little difficult to visually distinguish.

Nice work! I would have liked to see some music or sound effects to make things more immersive.

I love the general mood of this game, the music and hazy graphics are great, the movement is also very fluid and fun. It wasn't very clear to me what throwing the dice did, and it also wasn't clear to me how to win/ beat the game.

Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :) The controls definitely need work, I would add just a bit of frictional force if I could go back

Thanks for playing my game, I'm happy that you enjoyed it :)

Thanks a lot for playing my game! Fyi there is a bug in the web release of my game where the music does not play, but it (should) work on the windows release if you are interested :)
