The game is nice, however I missed animations of player movement and selection, but otherwise nice game :D
Thank you! I will definitely add your suggestions in the future.
Very nice work, I've never heard of Ludo before so it was fun to play for the first time. Aside from what the others have mentioned I would recommend adding some sound effects, and turn down the master volume of the music a bit :)
Thank you! I will definitely add your suggestions after the jam is over.
Very nice implementation of the classic game! Great work for the 48 hours we got!
Thanks!
I’m using mac, do you have a browser version?
Sorry, I don't have a mac or browser version.
Cool game, the music is also really nice :)
Thank you very much!
Really fun game. The music is also great, good job!
Thanks!
I love 2 things: the game and the fact that you did it in pygame!
that's truly impressive - nice job!
Thanks!
I like such relaxing games, that was fun experience) Good job!
Thank you very much!
Cool game! I like the concept and simplicity :)
Thanks!
Nice music and clean visuals, didn't come across any problems in my brief playthrough. But this is just ludo, if there is some twist to it I couldn't make it that far. Playing against an AI player would be nice, tho I suppose it would take a bit too long to implement.
It also appears to be made using a framework rather than a game engine, which is pretty cool especially for a game jam.
Thanks! Yes, you are right, I created this using Pygame.
For a 48-hour game jam, I know making a game without a game engine can't have been easy! I used MIT Scratch to make my game :)
The musik is nice and has a cool vibe, i personaly like the clean look of every box and I think you can figure the path really fast out. Overall i like it
Thank you very much!
The game loop is great, though definitely needs polishing. I can add that the game bugged out when I moved the window, might be reproducible.
Thanks for letting me know about the bug, I will fix it in the future.
The game resembled Sorry but with dice. The path the dots take isn't clear, as well as nothing is animated so it looks choppy and cheap. To improve I would make a clearer path for the board as well as make it clearer how the rules work. Its a good base game but needs a lot of work.
Thanks for your suggestions. I will definitely work on the game in the future.
The presentation of the mechanics could use some work, a wall of text is usually not the best way to introduce the rules
Okay. Thanks for your suggestions. I will definitely try to improve
Interesting game! I love the music!!
Thank you
