I feel like the addition of an adorable potato changes everything and makes this game far more entertaining than vanilla Flappy Bird.

However, there doesn't seem to be much in the way of music  (the only sound is the flapping of the wings and the crash sound), and I think adding some music would be really cool

My high score is 63.22 btw

EDIT: 69.12

EDIT 2: 71.92

EDIT 3: 106.55

Thanks! Sorry, I'm not the best at music... Also I kinda waited 'til last minute on that xD

Do you have somewhere I can DM you? I don't want to spoil the solution for other players.

Thanks for playing my game! I kind of procrastinated and never got around to expanding level 3 lol, but I'm glad you enjoyed it in it's current state.

For people struggling with level 2 (I accidentally made it harder than I thought) one hint I would give is to look at the start of level 1 again. There's kind of a hint for level 2 hidden at the start of level 1.

Don't worry, I was joking anyways

Very atmospheric, I really enjoyed it. I also like how one of the endings has a bullet hell.

I do have one question though: What did the white cats ever do to the player???

There's a bit of a secret to level 4, if you figure it out, it's a big aha moment xD

Thanks for playing my game!

I'll play your game tomorrow.

I saw a streamer playing this on Twitch, so I decided to try it out for myself, It's like wordle, but in the shape of a tower!

I managed to get to the queen, though I wasn't sure how to defeat them.

It's really cool how there are sections of the board where you can go off the actual board and into the white space. It feels almost gamebreaking, but it was built into the actual game.

The movement controls, where there's the dot,  were also interesting.

This game is pretty hard. I like the ability to jump midair. I also love how going back to the bottom replenishes bounces, so you can kinda exploit than in a way. I like how level 2 bounces you around, but since I have to start back on level 1 each reset, I didn't get past level 2

Ah, I have Unity installed but haven't used it much, sorry.

I'm currently alone. Unless I find a team. Also, what game engine do you use?

What type of game were you hoping to make?  (I'm also a programming person)

I already played your game (:

Recoiler is currently my second-favorite submission from another person

That go.. dark. And fast.

The art was pretty good, and the story was interesting and took a surprising route.

I felt that the visual novel part could use some more user input, however, as beyond the point-and-click part and one option near the end, there didn't seem to be much player control. Even just a dialogue option that shows some flavor text would add more interactivity.

I'd also think addition of back/history buttons could be beneficial, in case the player misses something,

I noticed, while most of it used two colors, one part had many grayscale colors on screen at once in the background, presumably from some sort of blur effect.

That's some really precision platforming! (a bit too hard for me xD)

I think a death counter would be a really good addition to this game.

On the level with the bat, I also think it would be good if the bat didn't start moving until the player starts moving. This would let the player take a break after deaths.

I do like how you used the tiles to make pictures of pumpkins and stuff!

I expected this game to be like Speed Run 4, but it was more of a rage game. Level 4 literally had me so furious originally.

But I kept trying and trying, and managed to get 10th on the leaderboard! (at time of writing)

EDIT: I got knocked off of the leaderboard!!

The controls are rather janky, especially on level 4.
But when I wasn't frustrated, it was fun.

You can press alt to make the window larger.

Super quick game, controlling the cat and knocking stuff over is surprisingly fun.

So I got to the top of the tower, but didn't manage to beat the witch.

But the spell options are pretty cool

Cat Lemon

I GOT IT!!
(The attempts counter is wrong, it seems to be cut off by the edge of the canvas, it was actually over 110 attempts)

THIS GAME IS AWESOME! Five out of five in every category.

First off, the slime you play as is absolutely adorable. It's such a cute character you play as.

The power ups in this game are so fun - absolute blast being able to, for example, jump extremely high.

Animations are so fluid, they look so good.

In terms of difficulty, this is like 10x harder than, say, Celeste. There's no way I'd be able to beat it. But, despite that, it still feels fair. It also does this thing where it switches the level every time you die. At first, I found this strange, but then I realized it helps prevent getting frustrated at or bored with a single level.

Overall, amazing game, highly recommend.

EDIT: I was like 90% through a level and then a bird killed my run!!

Very quick game (I won second try), and the graphics are epic.

...not very good on the wrist xD. You're lucky health is not a rating category

(edit: the creator informed me I could just hold the mouse down)

It was really fun though. I think slime boss is really cute tbh.

Just moving around. I had gotten to the second level from the stairway going down, was starting to move around, then it froze and I was unable to move. Music still played fine though.

I was blown away when I realized that the building was 3D. I find the game concept quite interesting.

Sadly, however, the controls often did not seem to work well - I would click to move, and the game would just not register the click - which was frustrating.

EDIT: Ok, it's actually just one particular part where the controls are being weird, they seem to work fine elsewhere. I cleared the game.

I find it cute how the background is just a giant cat face.

Good art and music
I think a "casual mode" would be good, for people who mostly want to explore, as I felt enemies spawned too frequently.

Also the game froze for me on the second room, so I was only able to play the first room.

I got the good ending! And 39 bad endings! But mostly the good ending

(also, I thought one of the endings I got was called nyat stupid, but I can't find it in the list now)

Yea, I guess I mislabeled it. I thought "since I have platforms you can jump on, I'll label it platformer"
The full description does mention there are some puzzle elements.

EDIT: I updated the tagline

Sorry, I guess I'm not the best at genres. There are platforms you jump on, and the first level takes some precision, so I thought I'd label it platformer

There's a "skip" button if you can't get past a level

This game was extremely fun. Great music, art, and story.

However, I sadly had to dock a single point because one level had three colors on screen at once (#0F2A3F, #081722 and #F6D6BD)

Really cool puzzle rooms. I would suggest an undo button, like the one in Baba is You.

Navigating these rooms while avoiding the NPCs kinda reminds me of pokemon platinum where you had to infiltrate the galactic base.

The squid is my favorite! I wish there was more to do with it

Pretty fun. Sometimes the bird enters a glitch state where you can't move and it is infinitely hurt.

Characters were awesome, I really like all the dialogue.

You don't need to know anything about Kamala other than that they are running for US president to play this game.

Wow, bro can jump!

Despite this being a rage platformer, the music is pretty relaxing

Woah, you made this in like 1 day??? HOWWW?
