I love the art style

Nice story, I would like more inputs though.

Very fun, and I do agree with everyos that the novel could use more input. It otherwise feels mostly like a regular story, but it is expertly crafted! Hope you get at least top ten!

That go.. dark. And fast.

The art was pretty good, and the story was interesting and took a surprising route.

I felt that the visual novel part could use some more user input, however, as beyond the point-and-click part and one option near the end, there didn't seem to be much player control. Even just a dialogue option that shows some flavor text would add more interactivity.

I'd also think addition of back/history buttons could be beneficial, in case the player misses something,

I noticed, while most of it used two colors, one part had many grayscale colors on screen at once in the background, presumably from some sort of blur effect.

Ahh I got quite an angsty ending! Is there a happier one as well?

Also - cool that you also did a Game Focused on narrative! That was quite brave regarding the nature of this jam and i love it! A bit more music would be great to enhance the atmosphere.

Nice Job!

Nice game! It’s tough to go for a narrative based game in a jam where most submissions are heavily focused on gameplay (I made a narrative focused game too), but I think you executed the narrative well here.

The character art is excellent and I like the SFX during gameplay! Something that would be nice if you expand on this would be a text speed option, but it’s not a big deal for the jam submission. Some light music at different sections would also enhance the atmosphere a little.

Overall, it’s a well done game! Like the other commenter said, I think you really nailed the visual novel portion (both art and narrative) which I think is what your main focus was on.

Hi! I really love your art style—it’s so cool! While it’s not quite 1-bit due to the blur effect, I still find it nice and unique. The character design is awesome, and I especially love how you used red in certain parts.

I’ve been getting some pretty sad ending (not sure if there are others), but I really enjoy the dark, angst-filled atmosphere—it’s right up my alley.

One thing I wanted to mention is that it would be great to see more interactions in the interactive sections. Right now, they don’t seem to have a big impact on the overall game, though the visual novel part is already really well done.

By the way, could you help me out—is that Army Dreamers playing in the main menu, or am I imagining things?
