Everything about the game is top-notch, amazed that you pulled that off in a week!

Absolutely amazing, love it!

Thanks! I agree, you can actually pass first 4 levels with one good throw, and only on the fifth it's impossible to pass without cheating.

Thanks! Sorry I can't check out your game, Mac user here.

Hey, I tried playing it but can't get it running, seems like on Mac OS Big Sur (the latest) there is no more Rosetta since Apple is transitioning to their own chips, and there's now Rosetta 2 (x64 -> arm) instead :D Making cross-platform games is tough!

Your game is amazing btw, I played several dozen submissions and liked yours the most!

Thanks for playing! Godot rocks!

I really liked the atmosphere and got scared couple times, awesome to see a horror game on a jam. However got stuck with changing "settings in the computer room", was spamming E all over the place to no avail.

Thanks! So interesting, initially it was a hard game because it was hard to grab onto the ball, people told me, so I increased the grab area to a ridiculous 40px radius and added slomo and even reset the velocity vector to 0 on next kicks :D Definitely made it too easy haha

Yeah +1 I also had the console freeze issue, but that was about the only bug in the whole game :)

Absolutely loved it! Very very well done, polished and long enough. And in the end it was very rewarding to get all the cheats and rain hell from above on those poor creeps :D Great job!

Sure thing, uploaded it here

Made it through! Really liked the game, nice graphics and execution, cool cheating mechanics. Not sure if it's an issue on windows, in the Mac version hitting/holding R wouldn't work so I had to play it carefully like a rougelike. Also the default jumping is barely enough to reach the platform on the first level, I couldn't get there in my first dozen jumps or so, thought maybe I'm doing something wrong and I have to bring over the lone crate somehow. But with another dozen attempts I got there. Maybe if you added like 10% more of default jump force it would be just enough to make it more reachable.

Just some feedback, but anyhow, very nice game! Cheers!

Hey, wasn't able to launch it straight away, brief google led me to this:

  1. open terminal, cd to the game directory
  2. chmod +x CheatZone\ -\ Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/Cheat\ zone
  3. xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine CheatZone\ -\ Mac.app

So I did this and was able to play the game! I escaped :D Will leave you a comment about that on your game page. But you might want to add these instructions for mac players to your download (or perform these actions and distribute the "fixed" binary). If you want I can zip back to you the game with those things set.

Sure thing, would love to check it out but I'm on a mac so only can play on web or if you got mac version.

Became so big I could eat those aliens for breakfast!

Thanks!

Thanks! I'd love to check out your game, but I'm on a mac. I see you have a mac icon next to the download, but I only see a windows .exe inside. Maybe you forgot to include the mac build?

Thanks for playing! I really liked your game too!

Loved everything about it! Stunning visuals and music! Great game.

First time ever someone streamed playing my game, incredible! Thanks a lot!

Good luck with porting!

Very cool and very well executed! Loved everything about it, the amount of different towers, graphics and game loop. As for the cheating aspect it didn't feel powerful enough to me, more like a game element than something that helps me bend the game rules and clear waves just clicking like mad. Anyhow, great game!

Thanks!

Nice little game, really liked the phasing out effect!

Thanks! Addressed the issue you mentioned and added some slowmo and larger clickable area! Thanks for feedback!

Unfortunately can't check out your game as I'm on a mac :(

Thanks for playing!

Really liked the graphics and sneaky/teleport mechanics, but couldn't get past the first level, killed a few dozen guards but couldn't understand what I should do next :)

Thank you for playing and feedback! Implemented your suggestion in the updated version, slo-mo is cool!

I had a friend report that once, but have no idea why. Happens on a windows machine right?

I really liked you use of limitation, and pretty amazed witht he amount of stuff you managed to implement within a week! Very cool!

Thanks for playing! I've addressed the ball thing and made it easier to grab, thanks for feedback!

Wish I could try out your game, but unfortunately I'm on mac :(

Thanks for playing and feedback! The soundtrack I made myself, but the planet sprites I took from overstellar asset pack

Thank you for playing!

I really liked the concept and wish you expanded on it a bit more!

So sorry, a few other people reported that as well, but I have no idea why. Maybe some Godot issue. Happens on windows, right?

Very nice teleporting mechanics! Wish there were a few more levels!
