I broke the game by jumping while in noclip and went out of bounds :)

the game is good but the controls hurt my fingers because i use the mouse with my left hand, i feel like the jump and fire buttons should be changed, and the first time i used the noclip cheat code i got yeeted into oblivion because i jumped and couldn't get back out of bound because the time period it lasts ended.

Yeah, I discovered the noclip yeet glitch when I was playtesting but I had no idea how to fix it without rewriting the entire way noclip works and I just didn't have time to do that. I also would have absolutely added customizable controls if I had the time but I didn't really think of it  until later and at that point I didn't have enough time to implement them. Sorry it was a problem for you :(

Certainly a cute little Metroidvania-style game (I am actually a massive fan of Metroidvania-style games and love the low res art style that you have!)

Mechanics are smooth and responsive. And the use of the limitation is effective and well implemented. It would be good to add some sounds and music and expand on the project!

i like the 1 bit art style, and i look forward to seeing more games from you. some things i noticed, i couldnt tell if the gun was doing damage to anything, other than the ui no indication of taking damage.  as others have mentioned the cheats as clever as they were had some undesired effects, i ended up falling endlessly on one play through. but overall i liked it!

Yeah, I knew this was a problem the game had when I uploaded it. I just simply didn't have the time to put that extra layer of polish on and make the cheats feel as intuitive as possible. I really wanted to have some screen shake/effects to display taking/dealing damage but again, just not enough time :( Thanks so much for playing a leaving feedback!

But I think you really need to make this game more intuitive without that much text and replace the font with one that sticks with its beautiful retro aesthetic. Aside from that, nice idea!

The text was put in at pretty much the last possible second so I completely agree that there's changes to be made with it. I really wish I had enough time to make the game more intuitive and polish it up but I'm gonna keep working on it for sure. Thanks for playing!

Inputting the cheats with key sequences felt really cool and i really liked it. Just a tip for unity, you can add a PlatformEffector2D to the platforms to let you jump through them one way which would really help the game feel less restricted.

Great idea! But you need to clean up the code. I got stuck in the wall few times using the blue cheat.

Nice game by the way, I enjoyed it a lot! And cheats are implemented really well

Yeah, the noclip is the one I most consistently had to go back and tweak. If I had more time I totally would have added a timer or something to make it a little more intuitive so there's no falling through the world forever or getting stuck in walls. Thanks for the feedback!
