I love how the planets influence the ball's trajectory. I think the game itself is really fun however in my opinion the cheat mechanic doesn't fit in the game. I understand that you want to use the limitation they announced but instead of having to estimate the ball's trajectory you can just fire again when its off track. For me having to estimate how to fire the ball right from the start and seeing how it goes is the most fun part. Either way great job.

Fun game! Gravity was a fun way to put a spin on the golf mechanic. Glad to see someone else use Godot!
Great game, it's little bit short, but that doesn't matter :)! Maybe only one small thing is to add delay to cheating...? Because without delay it's really easy game :D! Here is a cookie for you: ༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つ🍪
Hey, wasn't able to launch it straight away, brief google led me to this:
- open terminal, cd to the game directory
- chmod +x CheatZone\ -\ Mac.app/Contents/MacOS/Cheat\ zone
- xattr -r -d com.apple.quarantine CheatZone\ -\ Mac.app
So I did this and was able to play the game! I escaped :D Will leave you a comment about that on your game page. But you might want to add these instructions for mac players to your download (or perform these actions and distribute the "fixed" binary). If you want I can zip back to you the game with those things set.
Really cool game, I did the whole playthrough. Pross for not telling players how to cheat. Althrough, the colliders are a little off, and it would be great if the game had some sort of points system, but it doesn't ruin the fun :D
I really enjoyed the game, it feels good to play and is easy to understand. Great Job!
Boy, I have so much to say about this one.
First, I love how the game is kept simple so that the focus and controls are very clear cut to the player - that is a very good game design principle. I found a lot of people mentioning confusing controls for some of the games but this game definitely nailed it on the head when it comes to both visual and gameplay clarity which is very nice.
I think your soundtrack is nice and tame and fits the game well.
And dang, those graphics for the planets look on point (I'm assuming you made all the sprites and if that's the case that's very cool!)
Overall it just looks and feels good to play.
Fantastic Work and Game On!
Thanks for playing and feedback! The soundtrack I made myself, but the planet sprites I took from overstellar asset pack
Hi, evindor! Thanks for being patient with me! If you are still interested I made an exportable file for Mac OS users to try the game (it was immensely frustrating for to do as I have not used Mac OS in over 10 years [Windows/Linux programmer so I needed to set up a VM, but it is done nonetheless])! As I know you mentioned you wanted to try it I figured I'd get back to you! I hope you try it out and like it!
Cheers!
For some reason every time I try to play the game I get stuck on a pink screen
Really cool game, hard to grab the ball though, maybe a slight time slow when you grab it would be helpful
I like the game, It's fun. But it is very difficult to click on a flying ball.
This game is really fun and challenging. One thing i would recommend is make the ball easier to click on when it's moving quickly.
Really nice game
I liked the cheat idea and the hinting at the cheat without really revealing it.
Just two little things:
1. The speed you give the ball is very much, so you only want to have a very short sling/shotline, otherwise the planet gravity doesn't really have an impact. This makes it a bit unstable or unprecise especially when used for cheating. So maybe throttling the speed a bit would be nice.
2. Sometimes the planet gravity accelerates the ball also in the direction away from it, which seems a bit weird.
All in all it was really fun to play.
