Really cute graphics and a very nice palette choice! The gameplay is a bit too easy due to infinite body resets.

Hey all, I started participating in online jams not so long ago and I like roguelikes, so I figured that this jam would be a nice opportunity to hone out my skills. You can see my previous entries here: https://enesai.itch.io/ or message me on Discord and I'll send you some more examples of my work.
Some feedback:
1) The first game could be improved by having letters (QWE) on pills for better clarity. The text (MISS or GOOD) could also be a) moved or b) removed and instead the background for minigame could change its color to make it clearer.
2) In the second one the click area is a bit too thin in lines, so it fades into the background a bit.
3) Texts have low resolution, I think, judging by how blurry some of them are -- especially bigger sizes. It's better avoided.
4) Consider having a color palette for your future games. With good palette even some children's drawings could look professional. I recommend looking for some professional palettes (on sites like lospec or coolors) before making your own or to look for tutorials for that and how colors and lightning work.
5) It would be nice to have consistent art style. What I mean by that is: I noticed that some things have shading (even if it's very subtle), others not. For example, on the end screen one hill has shading and the distand doesn't, which gives unfinished painting vibes. Also some things have 'blur' around them by, I think, being drawn with different brush? For example, log and hair in the end scene. Very limited materials could have this effect (like cotton candy or smth), and even for them it's better to draw them without this blur to have consistency.
Hope this helps, looking forward for your next games! Also BIGOTS BEGONE!!!
Hi! We plan on working on our game after the jam ends so we are in search of feedback! Our game is https://flavedogame.itch.io/dyin-to-live. Looking forward to your stream!
Some feedback:
1) One of the rules of pixel art is that all pixels should be the same size. For example, in your first screenshot the shelf is lower resolution than a cat and plates -- it creates inconsistency and is better avoided.
2) Loved the inclusion of seizure warning.
3) The cat minigames could have better controls -- sometimes plates get stuck under the cat and I didn't really figure how the laser pointer works? Seems like it is unresponsive to mouse clicks in the first second or two.
4) Consider adding a punishment for missing objectives like kibble. The player can just use autoclicker to pass levels rn.
Nice submission! Some feedback:
1) The graphics are a bit inconsistent. The game starts in 95 and is expected to be progressed into XP or smth but the blue screen is from win 10, I think? Also I would love to see some interface elements incorporated into platformer part.
2) The music was a bit too loud at the end, makes the player more annoyed than invested.
Hey, great submission! Some feedback:
1) The building's rising animation, while providing nice and unique visual, creates problem for selecting a building.
2) There are no music and sound volume controls.
3) The art is nice, chromatic aberration gives a nice polished feeling.
4) Could use a better tutorial, integrated into gameplay. And a pause and exit button.
5) Needs a key modificator for adding/subtracting 10/5 at the same time, like shift or ctrl.
6) Repair all button or/and an upgrade for automatic repair.
7) Speaking of repair, since you can't see building's HP at all times, acid rain time becomes click-all-buildings time even with visual cue that building is being damaged since the damage is big on early levels.
Hi! We plan on polishing and releasing full game after the jam ends, so we are in search of all the feedback we can get. The game is https://flavedogame.itch.io/dyin-to-live.
Interesting take on the theme. I'd advise to make text bigger and making the soul under the cursor stop or somehow make their life text hover on the screen because there is a constant battle for reading the story while souls wiggle and make it harder. I also didn't understand fully by what standards player judges souls? There are a lot of religious frameworks and it would be interesting to see different world views represented. Like ancient Greek goes to 'heaven' for something Christian person would go to hell, etc.
