Thank you so much for this great review!

Oh, that's a good question. I'm still working on making a single creator kit for Breathless, Nomadic, Renegades, Stoneburner, and TotBS, but it's taking more time than I'd like.

Technically, the whole game is open licensed, so if you want to make a hack of it, check out this website: https://farirpgs.com/burned-in-stones/license.

As for a jam, that's definitely something I'm thinking about, even more so considering the Songs and Sagas Jam is now wrapped up.

This adventure looks like a lot of fun, can’t wait to sit down and read it from start to finish!

Hope you like the game, and thanks for the kind words!

Oh dang it, sorry about that! I've updated the Press Kit to point to the Stoneburner website and the third-party license/logos to point to https://farirpgs.com/burned-in-stones/license.

Thanks for this. I recently migrated the website, and it has caused a couple of problems like this. I truly appreciate it.

This is looking super sharp!!! Thanks for sharing this can’t wait to check out the whole thing!

Lynn Jones submitted a Markdown and Google Docs version of the SRD to the jam.

I'm beyond excited to see so many of you joining us in this jam!!!

Working on a game is a lot of work, so remember that we have a wealth of resources available to support you on this journey. We've got Affinity templates, Canva templates, font recommendations, an active Discord community, a YouTube video explaining all the Songs and Sagas mechanics and their inner workings, and so much more.

If you have any questions, need help with something, or just want to share what you're working on, drop a comment below!

Hey everyone,

If you don't have an Affinity Publisher license but still want to make something that stands a bit more than a Google Document, you should check out Canva.

It's a free web app and while it's not ideal for large books, it may be the perfect tool for you during the jam.

You can get started with this free Canva template I released inspired by the S&S designs.

Cheers!

I think you should most definitely go for it! What would be the pitch for the game? Always love hearing them 😄

This thread is going to be very interesting for everyone participating in the jam!

Very well done!

You can also get the templates at https://store.farirpgs.com/l/affinity-templates-songs-and-sagas?layout=profile

hi!

Thanks for the kind words and yeah of course you can translate the creator kit and SRD! Please do ping me when the translation is done, I’d love to add a link to it on the itch page of the creator kit!

This looks absolutely incredible wow I’m so impressed by the vibe of the layout!

The templates are now available! You just need to sign up for free on Patreon and you'll be able to download them!

The layout and aesthetic are beautiful, great work!

this is looking so sharp

I've been working on more templates for Affinity Publisher so that you all have an easier time getting started, stay tuned for more.

Those will drop for all all patreon subs (even the free ones) at https://www.patreon.com/farirpgs

Clay Nodestine just dropped a super cool article for finding free font resources.

Check it out at https://www.explorersdesign.com/free-fonts-list/

It’s a kind of sentient glob creature that looks like a brain that 6 feet tall and wide. It crawls and has very dangerous psychic powers. In my game at least this is what they are. You can chose that they are something else entirely if you wish.

Hey everyone, we've just released a full read-through of the game, which we thought could be helpful in understanding the ideas behind the mechanics and why things are the way they are.

Click the link, sit back, and enjoy!

For some reason the link you shared gives me a 404? Maybe the page isn't public or something?

Thank youu!

The kit is actually all available on this website here: https://farirpgs.com/songs-and-sagas/creator-kit

We chose to use a website instead of a PDF to make it more accessible, enable people to search the entire content, and also to allow for quick edits.

If you have any other questions don't hesitate!

On my end, after watching the Fallout TV show, I thought it could be fun to make a very small thematic hack of the game set in a similar setting. I haven't done much yet apart from the cover page, but I think it's looking pretty good so far!

How about you? Anything you are ready to share? Some notes you've written, or perhaps a mood board?

It's important to share our work-in-progress stuff because it helps keep the ball rolling. Also, if you're stuck on something, this community, myself included, can help you!

This is INCREDIBLE and will be so useful for actual plays and what not, I absolutely love this!

Oh wow, that's amazing!! Thank you so much for this. I've just updated the Breathless SRD itch page to include a link to your Italian translation.

Now, I'll notify my community about it, this is awesome ^^

OK, I have to say, that layout is just so beautiful. I also love the idea of premade maps, especially since this is something we also want to do with the expanded edition of Songs and Sagas. I will definitely keep a close eye on this one for sure.

Hey Bruno!

By default, all mechanics are open-licensed when using ORC. I've specifically added the settings and rolling tables (so basically, the entire game) as part of the license as well.

All of this information is laid out on the creator kit website here.

hey!! So this itch page acts mostly as a hub for the game but the game doesn’t have files per se.

Charge is available as a website, there are no PDFs to download or anything, it’s all available on the Fari Community website. We use this page as a way to accept donations for the project and for visibility. I hope that clear things out !

That's amazing!! Stoneburner was so much fun to work with and I'm happy to hear you're excited about S&S as well! Cant' wait to hear your thoughts about this new game! ^^

I do plan on making a video read through soon, so stay tuned for this!

Peut-être !!! Je dois juste trouver le temps ! 😄

Thanks again for having helped us play test this game. Your feedback was invaluable and reading those beautiful compliments right now is the best feeling in the world.

¡Estamos trabajando en ello!

Hey! Send us an email here and we’ll get you one!

Oh my pleasure!!!

I'm so glad you like the game ^^ BTW, we're looking at releasing a new version of the system with streamlined and updated rules. You can join our discord at https://farirpgs.com/discord if you want to participate in the playtest!

FYI, the french translation wasn't done by me , it's all thanks to hose fine folks!

The main mechanical differences, apart from Charge being generic, are the Momentum and the new Resistance Roll mechanics. You gain momentum when making good rolls, can use it to perform a variety of actions but also need to use it in case you want to try to resist bad consequences coming your way. There's more to it, but that's the gist of it! Also, sorry for not having replied earlier ^^'

Thank you for the kind words ❤️ I also went ahead and fixed the typos. The updated PDF has been uploaded to itch. Thanks for notifying me about those, really appreciate it.
