I really enjoyed this entry!

The music is so weird! Not in a bad way tho. It is really cool! It gives me vibes that I can not simply describe. Simple and nice entry!

Hello, Ilias, and thanks for playing Freedom in Nowhere!
I used the Godot Engine as well as Aseprite for my game, and because of its simplicity, I didn't require any kind of optimizations. The only thing that was difficult for me was to make the attacks 'sync' to the music, but at the end, I think it turned out pretty good! I started game development a couple of years back with a small game, and from there on, I have expanded its universe; this game is part of it. Regarding aspects of the game such as the name, and gameplay, they just popped out in my head! There is no hard explanation for that, heh.

I have played your game before, yes, but unfortunately my computer can not run it that good, therefore, I can't rate it properly. I do have one question for you though: What is the reason behind all your games being called "A Little Thing Made out Of Clay"? Whatever the anwser is, I bet it's interesting!

Thank you very much!!!
And that's for sure! I already have a list of things that could be 10 times better 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼

Oh yeah... the collision with the triangles is rather small because I wanted to be cool with them. But now I know that I was too generous hahaha! Thanks for yor comment!

That's good to know! Hope you can manage to see the ending!

It was very hard to understand what was happening at first, but then once you get the hand of the controls it gets kind of easy.

The game has the theme... but it can be improved.
It is hard to get your supplies after the helicopter leaves once you have protected the helipad, because when destroying the logs, you can damage it and lose. Also, for some reason I wasn't able to eat the apples when my health was low 😔

Thanks for the feedback on the healthbar! I do  agree on it.
It seems I really didn't measure my 'forgiveness' in the very first attacks lol. I did that on purpose because I knew they were going to be hard, but it can be changed. 👌🏻

Mch, sad you didn't get to the ending. If you want you can check out a small playthrough of the game below. And you are correct! Apolo and his refracted variants are both the 'Rivals' and the 'Companions' of the game!

Thank you! And yea... the start is hard on purpose because (storywise), the red one is the most angry and difficult to deal with. That's why the generous hitbox size on his attacks lol.

The game is kinda static, but that didn't stop me to put some music in the background and get a 357 of score. 👌

Thanks!
And yeah, I do agree on that. The skip dialog was implemented at the start, but got rid of it so the music could "sync". Will definitely consider the checkpoints and dialog skip for a small update.

Indeed it is!

I really hope so 🫶

Thank you!

You think? 😳

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! :)

Damn, the music is simple, but it slaps! Reminds me of something, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

Couldn't agree more with this!

Thanks! That's nice to hear!
I agree with the hit box issue, and that  will certainly be changed in a future update which will fix some other 'bugs' and hopefully bring some more content and visual changes.
