Yes, you get a happier ending if you do that.

Are you on the latest build? The epilogue was bugged for a while but should be fixed now.

Here's some pointers:

- go to your room every week to see his event

- invite him to one of your events (he won't come, but it boosts romance I believe)

- finish the historian secret chain and see the last one before the auto-triggered conversation with Jasper in week 4, then pick dialogue choices telling him to put down his burdens and assuring him you'll save the summit

That should help you get on his route. For the best outcome you have to have legendary endings for all countries. I think a perfect acquittal for Imogen also helps, in boosting relationship if nothing else, but I'm not sure about that.

There's also this: https://azalynestudios.tumblr.com/post/137506645286/7kpp-stat-calculator

You can get a better ending with him, but you have to achieve perfect endings everywhere (better than 'just' peace). I was also disappointed the first time around but the better ending is a lot more fulfilling!

And did you get the option to speak up as the ambassadors were talking during the negotiation?

You can ask her why she tried to kill you on her romance route.

Those options are OK for legendary peace! Did you push the ambassadors toward peace as well when you met them? You could also try to spend more social capital on Arland and Jiyel peace during the negotiations.

One of the free time options will be to look into political marriages. I don't remember what it's called exactly but I think it's the bottom choice. You need to select that a couple of times to be able to arrange a political marriage.

Ha, I look forward to finding some of those more obscure outcomes! I'm super impressed with how many different variations there are. Thanks for all your work, Aly!

What options did you pick? I've had all the invitations come up before, so I don't think that's the problem.

There's a bug when attempting to let Hise know about Zarad's secret:

Seven Kingdoms- The Princess Problem (Early Access) 1.04

I feel like Ana's epilogue might be bugged? It didn't trigger on my Sheltered Princess, and I figured maybe the outcomes I had weren't good enough, even though they were positive for Skalt and Arland. So I played through the game again as a different character and this time around I achieved legendary outcomes for all countries, and had Ana's romance bar filled completely, and it still didn't trigger.

Not necessarily all checks I think (although I did pass those), but I was picking one of the other options that gave influence with Arland rather than the peace one. So that was a bit dumb on my part. :P

Yeah, this is something I'm not sure about either. I've never gotten the bar to more than 50% before the conversation with Sayra about Revaire's future, and even that I've only managed on my playthroughs where Katiya's legacy is my announced goal, so it seems like I definitely need that bump. I don't know anything for sure, but maybe befriending Clarmont and having high approval with the servants helps? I know you don't have to invite Sayra to an event to get the peace outcome, because I haven't done that before. It might help, though?

(1 edit)

You have to have Rebel approval at at least 50 (halfway point of the bar), and possibly you need friendship with Gisette as well? Then you'll have to carefully navigate your way through two conversations to convince both parties to sort things out peacefully. Oh, and you need to have seen all the Rebel secrets.

I turned Jarrod down in a way that allowed us to still be friends, and then pursued the political marriage path when the option became available while continuing my romance with Gisette as normal. I then automatically got the option of talking to Gisette about marrying Jarrod on the political marriage path.

I could use some tips on how to achieve the legendary outcomes for all countries at the end of the game. Spoilers below!

What I've managed to do:

- secure peace between all nations, and within Revaire (royals step down peacefully for the rebels)

- max approval with all nations

- host a perfect ball

- be quite persuasive (575) and take every chance I've seen to increase peace/influence people to work together

- have a decent amount of social capital to use to influence the nations towards peace during the negotiations (I've tried different distributions), while ignoring my own interests

- convinced Avalie to work with me towards peace and had Penelope go to Skalt

- decent or better respect and friendship with everyone except Jarrod

- resolved Weaver, historian and rebel secret chains

Can anyone point me in the direction of what I've forgotten to do?

Update: so I've confirmed you need to reform Jarrod to get the best possible ending for Revaire. I still haven't managed to get the legendary achievement to pop, though, so there's something else I'm missing.

Update 2: I think I haven't managed to get the best possible outcome for Arland/Jiyel. If anyone has tips for that one it would be greatly appreciated.

Update 3: success! I was messing something up in a conversation with one of the ambassadors.

Ran into this bug with Woodly approaching before the matchmaker:

I just found a bug during final negotiations with my tomboy countess. I'm still on 1.02, so I'm not sure if this is something that has already been squashed in 1.03.

Thanks, it's definitely the legendary outcomes that I'm missing, then. I'll see if I can manage to unlock that on my next playthrough!

All right, thanks for letting me know! I'll work at it some more. :)

Hmm, I'm not sure it's working as intended? I definitely convinced her of the difficult thing on most of my playthroughs, and I think I managed the best Jiyel ending on some of those too, but I'm not sure about that (how can I know?) and I've still never triggered her epilogue.

I ran into an error in the epilogue while doing the Jasper romance, just as it was about to describe what he was up to:

Same here! I'm very interested in TToW, but not really in BFF. I would still back it (maybe at a lower amount), though, because I want to support what you're doing, since you make great games. I hope whatever you decide to do works out!

Hahaha, I admit I haven't been following that one very diligently for that very reason. But on the other hand, I've really enjoyed this game and The Rose of Segunda, so I might just step out of my comfort zone for it. ;)

My review (no specific spoilers, just general impressions):

I just finished getting the good ends for all the characters, and I have to say I really enjoyed the game. The setting is very novel, and the premise of this game is very exciting to me. I liked the post-apocalyptic aspects and the fact that the game did not shy away from showing both the good and the bad in that situation.

Arha is a great MC, she is earnest in her devotion without allowing others to walk all over her. It might easily have become annoying if she had been too deferential to the gods she spent her entire life honoring, but the game manages to avoid that. I enjoyed her responses to the obstacles put in her way throughout the story.

I played Tai first, and I found his route enjoyable. I liked the tension between him and Arha that would come up when their ideals clashed. I also found myself thinking about when to show deference and when to stand up to him. At some points I wanted to give him a good slap, and it was gratifying to see his development over the course of the game. The part where Tai and Arha spend some time traveling with others felt a little long to me at times, though. Still, I enjoyed seeing how that arc wrapped up in the end.

Suiza is definitely my favorite. His snarky banter with Arha was fantastic, and I feel like perhaps he grew the most throughout the game. The supporting characters in this route are also awesome, and it was a lot of fun to read their interactions. I also loved the hair CGs in this route. :)

I played Kien last because I was least interested in him. His route is well-written and the conflict in it was especially tense. I felt genuinely upset at some of the things that happened during their journey. Kien isn't quite my type so I wasn't as much into him as the others, but that is all down to personal preference and not to the route itself.

I felt the small cast worked well in this game. I'm a sucker for two characters getting stuck with each other/traveling together, and there was definitely plenty of that. It allowed for a lot of relationship development.

The ending felt slightly rushed, especially with the small time skip at the end. I feel that things might have flowed better if we'd been able to see some of the immediate fallout after the climax? It wasn't bad, it just made me go: oh, I guess this is the end already?

On the whole, I definitely recommend this game. It is super well-written and easy to get lost in, as evidenced by the fact that I just spent all day playing it so I could finish all the routes. I truly appreciate the fact that the setting of this otome is different from the standard high school stuff you mostly get, and that it is more serious in its tone. Thanks so much for the wonderful game!

Awesome, I'm really looking forward to playing it!

Hahahaha, we definitely have the same taste in games! It's a really good and funny game, I recommend it! :D

This game was really excellent! I enjoyed all the romances but Leopold and the secret romance were my favorite, followed by Charlotte. I really love games that allow you to exert some influence over the MC's personality so that was a huge plus. The writing was excellent and some scenes had me laughing outloud, which rarely happens to me when playing games. Thank you very much for this awesome game! I too would love to see a sequel or epilogue or somesuch at some point, but for now I'll simply keep an eye on your other upcoming games.
