In what way does your game fit the theme?
The Combat has a rewind button where you can rewind a chance of the player and the enemy
Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
The art was from a art kit from itch.io it was free.
The code was all written by me from scratch

Fun rogue-like game! I thought the art, sounds, and animation were all great. I like the idea of the monsters dropping items to pick up. The rewind button seems a little useless, at least it was to me. Maybe it could have more of a use than just rewinding one turn because you have a good game here!
Hey there, nice to see a topdown roguelike in the submissions so kudos on that. The art also looks fitting. Though I must say I felt pretty lost in terms of what my goal was and I did not even realise that I needed to attack the enemies using F. As they were basically just standing still and not attacking me.
Also I realised if you start a fight off by rewinding, it does a lot of damage to the enemies for some reason.
A little more feedback for when entering combat would also be nice, as I had initially thought I was simply viewing some form of informational screen until I realised what it was.
Nice concept though, cool to see a minimap as well. Even though it doesnt show much more than the player can already see, it is cool though.
Thanks
Great game! I liked the turn based fighting system:)
Thank you
good game. i'd prefer if the enemies were as big as the protagonist though. good luck!
Cool game, but it definitely would've benefitted from a tutorial. I picked up the weapons but I couldn't use them, and whenever I was attacking an enemy my weapon slots were empty so that was confusing. The music also stopped playing after a while so there were only sound effects.
Nice idea though and I liked the artwork :)
Cool game with cool graphics.
Loved the artwork. Also, am I correct in assuming the levels are procedurally generated? I like how you added the help windows not just for items but the enemies as well. I didn't immediately notice a difference (and thus why I was getting massacred) until I popped open the enemy stats window.
Last thing, not sure if this is intentional or a glitch but I discovered if you rewind on an enemy w full health, you can drop their health enough to one shot them. Is this a bug or a feature? ^_^
Yes the dungeons are proceduraly generated, yes i noticed that bug but thought it was a fun feature, so it is now basically a feature
That's an awesome "feature" honestly. Definitely lean into that and vary it up. I thought that was a cool discovery moment.
Thank you
little bit confusing but cool gamejam game still. Try to fit tutorial on level and introduce mechanics one at a time so buttons will be easier to remember
will do that after game jam ends
It was quite confusing but I got it to work eventually. Nice artstyle!
Good effort and hope you had fun making it!
thanks for the feedback
Great game!
I like the idea of rewinding during combat! One thing I'd point out is that at first I didn't know the controls, so I was just going past the enemies, and only when I checked the comments I found out how you can attack.
I think this idea could definitely be expanded!
Thank you
Liked the combat system. I think rewind mechanic can be well implemented in turn-based combat (like jRPG's or roguelikes). Control seemed weird at first (like F as an attack button, that's pretty unusual), but you can get used to it. Also, I think I found a bug - when you start the fight and press the Rewind button, then enemy's health reduces to oneshot amounts, so it is easy to defeat them)
Another thing I wanted to suggest, if you don't mind: try not to scale or stretch pixel art - It makes pixels look weird. I am not a great artist myself, so that's just an advice from your fellow game dev for the future.
Anyway, I liked you game, congrats on the jam!
Loved the art, the implementation of the theme, the upgrades system. I think that the knight should move a bit faster at the beggining.
Please, play my game too!
I loved the pixel art style bro. The knight is cute. The fight style is beautifully incorporated in card style battle. <3
Thanks
Very cute game :) I think the theme was well implemented
Thanks
Nice game! I feel like the rewind feature could be expanded, but it's still a neat game!
Thanks for the feedback, pls dont forget to rate the game
after i got the controls the game so fun...
just thought the rewind is better when much more involved.
like your weapon damages and you can use rewind to make it new again.
Good Idea, will update after the jam ends
Nice concept , I like the gameplay and the combat system as well. Theme well implemented.
Thanks, your game is also very good, good job on that too, pls dont forget to rate my game
Nice job on the procedural generation. It could be sped up, you walk too slow. I like the idea of mixing a procedural dungeon game with turn based combat
Thanks, pls dont forget to rate the game
I liked the game a lot, i'm a fan of dungeon crawlers and enjoyed upgrading my gear. My only criticism would be when I looked at the controls menu I was instantly worried about how many buttons I had to remember. I think having less to remember would have improved the game a lot. Great work overall! :)
Thank you for the feedback, i was also thinking about making a drag and drop system, but did'nt have time and did'nt knew how to do it, pls dont forget to rate :)
already rated dw :)
The combat style in this game is well implemented and I like the smoothness of the gameplay itself. I would suggest you make the player go a bit faster because it feels like you are going too slow.
Great job, otherwise!
Thanks for the feedback, pls dont forget to rate it
I already rated it 😁
