I love to see when people take the theme directly to the character controls! Really loved the cool vibe when moving the mouse around like a crazy man to increase the level of the sword.

I'll probably work a little bit to let the player know when a boss can block their attacks (I see you second boss), and probably forward more to enter into the combats.

Really nice submission, and the SFX slider destroyed my inner ear xD (probably a cooldown for the sound will be a fast fix)

This is the type of game that just oozes the vibe from the start. I really liked the take of making the boss fights being created/modified by “random” modifiers.

The only shame is that the bosses; at least the bosses I fought against, ended up being repetitive because of the small variation of their main entities. If you plan to update/add more of the “main bosses' part”, the game will be a 10/10.

Amazing job!

Loved your take on the spin linked to a shared element between the Player and the Bosses. At least for me, it created this ahá moment when forcing the boss to make them eat something rotten at high points of the business lunches.

My only issue was that sometimes was hard to see the icons over the foods and trying to know what were their modifiers.

Overall, a super nice entry. Great Job!

This is probably one of the most best-packed entries of the Jam. I loved the aesthetic of the project.

My only issue is that I'm missing a bit the spin theme linked more with the player mechanics.

But overall great entry on the Jam!

Game Jams are the place to take risks, so we went full on only supporting the controller in order to focus on the spin vibe that we loved with the joysticks.

We never thought that someone could compare our small drill dude with the penitent, but for sure the cone hat makes it a bit xd.

We are glad that you liked the game, despite not experimenting it with the spin.

We work a ton on the character controller, so it fills our ego seeing comments like yours.

About the game over, we are truly fans about the over the top effects. In our case, we miss even more camera shakes and flashing effects, but we worked with tight time. We appreciate discordant points of view with ours xd, that generates conversation and is per se cool.

Sorry to hear that, it's the first time we see an error like yours. Probably is some missing dll in your computer?

We'll investigate to see what that problem could be.

(1 edit)

That's great! Our main goal was to make the people work-out for a little (at least their fingers).

Your problem with the chase looks like a bug, in theory stepping on the ground means the victory for the last boss. We'll take a note about that issue and try to fix with an upcoming update.

Thanks for the feedback!

We are glad you liked our take on the theme. We for sure tip our pixel artist with his incredible work.

About the bugs, we are aware of the Deafeat-Victory bug, but we were pretty short in time so it was one of those that go into production.

We are taking notes of all the feedback and for sure work on an update of the game

Thanks a ton for your comment!

Wow thanks a lot! We are astonished and super glad about the Cuphead comparison.

Thanks a ton for the compliments!!!

We'll pray for your thumb. We love that you liked our game (also the surprise of liking that much the third boss xd).

Thanks a ton for your comment!!. We are working to update some rough edges of the game with an update.

Loved the key concept of the project, people may argue that it's simple, but to be honest, exists a craftsmanship in Keeping It Simple.

The art is super charm and easy to read, which allows a smooth lecture of what the boss is trying to do.

A really cool submission for a solo-dev, congrats!

Loved the saw through materials mechanic, it was ton of fun.

My only issue is that sometimes feels that you can get access to the heart, but there is a tiny miny part that you haven't sawed.

Overall, really nice submission.

Nice game, really liked the bouncy gimmick to attack the cat's head.

My only problem is that sometimes I can't handle to know when the cat is healing while avoiding the paws (also cool hint with the claws).

Hi!

Thanks a ton for the feedback. We are sorry you didn't have the chance to go further on the game.

Due our take on the theme we decided to only support controller (at least at the moment) for the spin mechanic.

We encourage you to try again our game using a controller (pc ones or an xbox controller worked perfectly for us)

We love that you liked the game.

Now we are fixing some bugs from the game, so you can try it again!!!

We also added more info in the game and in the game page. (info like how some weapons work)
