Game's Take on the Theme
You are a spinning saw blade with googly eyes, fighting robots that you destroy by cutting them. Spin speed affects cutting power.
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
1 music track, several sound fx, and about half the art assets were handmade during the jam.

great work! love the game idea and overall feel of the game is really solid!
This one was a lot of fun! Excellent use of the theme and I'll be honest, I'm amazed that you were able to make that flavor of movement and physics feel intuitive. You nailed it with controls!
I did have difficulty finishing the second boss because I would pretty routinely get trapped inside of him during a spin and just get thrown off-screen to never return. I restarted a couple of times and found myself in the same position each time.
Super fun and cool concept, i like that they have this electrical form after you chisel their armor off, then ping pong around on their heart core =D, and it was fun launching myself around. Not a huge fan of the paper drawing and graph paper arena but, the game was really fun :)
The concept is fun, and chipping away at a boss's body is really cool. I wish that destroying a robot part would stop or slow down some of its attacks, allowing you to strategize which parts to target based on the attacks you want to disable.
I agree chipping away at the bosses is very satisfying! Love how you've integrated the health of the boss into the visuals which are very smooth :)
Very impressed with the Godot skeleton animation style--I'll definitely look up some tutorials. It was my first time using Godot for our project!
Thanks for playing! This was my first time trying the Godot skeleton animation stuff, and I highly recommend it! There's so much more I could have done if I'd had the time, and I'm definitely going to be using it on future projects.
Kinda hard to turn but that's probably just me. Very fun and simple game. Chipping away at the boss is very satisfying. I can see this game being put under an AI generated voiceover of a reddit post like Subway Surfers.
Could be you, could be me--I'm terrible at action games, so I had no idea what I was doing balancing the fights. 😂 Thanks so much for playing! It was my first game jam, and my first finished game, and I had a blast.
Whoops! I meant to “turn” not “game.” The game is amazing!
This was a pretty fun game, I love the concept of chipping away at the actual boss sprite when dealing damage to it. It really gets me thinking about which component of the boss to aim at, and it’s satisfying to remove parts of the boss. Great work on this game!
Thanks so much for playing! There was a lot more I wanted to do with the concept of cutting off parts of the boss--removing weapons to disable attacks and such. But I was scrambling just under the wire to get it this far. My goal for the jam was just to finish, so I'm calling it a win!
