Fascinating twist on the topic, really like the out of the box thinking here.
The part that impressed me the most is the opponent's AI. The music was also quite enjoyable. While playing, I couldn't help but nod my head to the rhythm. Good job!
I faced a few minor problems: In the second map, there are times when you or the AI can spawn outside the map with no option to restart the match. The abilities seem a bit uneven; some dots are quite challenging to use, whereas others (like magic, for instance) are very easy but don't provide a truly rewarding experience.
All things considered, this game has much potential, especially if you consider adding a multiplayer feature.Well done!
First of all great game. Really creative idea and very charming. Love the music, the artstyle, the story and of course the mechanics. Two things I would consider: adding a restart button, so that you can just instantly restart a level and as mentioned in another comment, let the previously placed buttons stay on restart . Sometimes I struggled with a later part of the level and it was hard to remember the exact placements of the first instructions.
Ohh and it took me a while to figure out, that you can place the instructions before moving the queen.
Nice work! Really enjoyed it!
I've noticed the hitboxes in the second minigame, and I think it's a good call to make them more forgiving. However, what I meant to say is that in the first minigame, there's a bit of a bounce-back when you move too quickly. It seems to be detecting multiple collisions, causing the memory to fly off in an unexpected direction. It's a minor thing, but at times, it felt a bit unfair while playing.
I finished the game and feel proud because some of the mini-games were challenging. I loved the visuals and the story. When I say it was like a fever dream, I mean it in a very positive way. It's a really great game.
The only thing I noticed is some of the collisions feel a bit off, which makes the first game hard and it felt a bit unfair sometimes.
All in all I really enjoyed playing it!
