The E button did the trick, thanks a whole lot. I'm gonna change every other key to work the same way to keep things consistent from the player's perspective, though. Don't want them to get confused by a sudden change of rules.

Ah, so it requires 3D modeling... It's a little more complicated than I thought, then.

I did that but it didn't do anything...

But the wall is not an "entity", those are enemies and decorations... Unless you mean there's a script command to replace one wall with another wall...

Are they? O.o ...How would you get a wall to change texture upon activating a terminal, then?

I forgot to ask... How do you assign a script to a decoration?

Sorry, my bad. The creator of the program can disregard suggestion number 2 then.

Oh! ...Okay, thanks a lot.

(1 edit)

Two things I believe should be added to this engine:

1) The ability to change a wall's  texture via script when you activate a terminal, in order to simulate things like flipping a switch or pressing a button on the wall.

EDIT: You can ignore suggestion number 2, as the posts below illustrate.

2) The ability to trigger a script when you grab certain objects such as a key (or a way to place a key and a trigger in the same space, either way I want a script triggered when you grab the key).

Thank you!

I placed a terminal on my map and assigned a script to it. Thing is, no matter what I write on the script, even if I leave it completely blank, as soon as I try to activate the terminal the entire game freezes. Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

Hmmmm, I see. That might be a good alternative, because the per-hour model presents me with a little problem right now...

Assuming that I hired one $15 startup and the work schedule would be the normal 8 hours a day, that'd make: 15 x 8 = $120 a day.

Assuming a normal 5 days a week (with saturday and sunday to rest): 120 x 5 = $600 a week.

A month has about 4 weeks: 600 x 4 = $2400 per month.

Now, assuming a small team that includes 1 animator, 1 artist for things like backgrounds, tilesets and GUI, and 1 composer: 2400 x 3 = $7200 a month for that team.

I'd need over 20 times my current subscriber count on my Patreon to even afford that! So I either pay per asset or look for an alternative way of gathering up the money, such as working for others first (assuming these others even have any money to pay me with).

I always wondered how the "per hour" thing works, at least in the indie scene. How do I even know how many hours they spent on their work? ...Maybe you mean as in physically going to a place, which is not possible in my case. The collab would be entirely over the internet.

I said "per week" as in maybe use a Scrum methodology with sprints of 1 week.

Just consulting prices for now, but I'd like to know how much money I'd need to have/earn in order to hire a team. I'm talking animator, artist, composer, and perhaps sound designer.

If you happen to be any of these, how much money would you charge per week?

Honestly, I enjoyed PokeShrink more, but I do have a couple questions for this one:

About that orange-haired lady that you can get to remove her boots... How are you supposed to "give her the heads-up" as she says? Such an option is never presented...

And secondly, Jiro's feet are bare when you talk to her, yet they suddenly gain pantyhose out of nowhere when you're in the cutscene. That's inconsistent and it really disappoints me because I hate pantyhose.

Also, For some reason I already began the game with shrunken Jiro in my inventory, allowing me to do Mina Ashido's sex cutscene right away... Nevermind the fact that the NPC I was talking to WASN'T EVEN Mina! (I think it's supposed to be Momo?)

But I do like the fact you can see inside Mt. Lady's pantyhose and actually see her bare foot. She's the only one you can do this with.

Well, that's all. Not much foot fun to this one because it's not the same "summer pool" setting as the pokemon one, so I guess that's understandable.

Because I love your concept, it is my duty to provide you valuable feedback:

First of all, the game seems very incomplete yet. I was able to complete Flannery and Mt. Lady's requests by doing absolutely nothing, and then I didn't get the promised cutscene rewards.

Secondly, the game isn't clear as to how many of each object (crystals, batteries, etc.) you need to find. I picked up one battery and I was left wondering why Viola wouldn't react to me having it.

Thirdly, we need some swimming/floating controls for the swimming pool. I fall inside while tiny and I'm unable to climb back up.

Fourthly, Nurse Joy's shop has NOTHING to sell! I was expecting to buy the drinks there...

Fifthly, several of the girls (Elesa, Malva, Rika) don't even talk! The female Team Skull Grunt is not even animated yet!  She's like a statue! XD

Sixthly, a minor one but most of the girls don't have a collision box on their feet.

Just a suggestion here, but for the ones that are barefoot or wearing flip-flops or sandals (basically all that have their feet exposed in some way), it would be nice to walk up to their feet and press E to tickle them. I would cause the tickled foot to twitch slightly and the girl to play a giggle sound effect (and it could be an alternate trigger for having Bea crush you).

Keep working on this! You're doing great.

Ah... Okay, then I guess I should keep it at 2.00 ...I just hope the game doesn't feel too short and simple for that amount.

I recently changed my game from being free to asking for a donation. It defaults to $2.00, but I think it's too much for such a short and simple game, so I put a lower amount and saved... And turns out it's STILL $2.00! No matter how many times I change it and save, it refuses to change! Why is that?

...I checked again and the problem magically solved itself without me doing anything :/  ...I hope it stays fixed. Thanks for replying to me anyway.

Hi! I recently created my account and published my game "Little Shadow". In its description, I boast that the game is compatible with both PC and Mobile, and it was indeed the case when not published. However, if I try to access my published game from my mobile device, it stops loading as if it's missing some files, which does not happen when I open it with my PC's browser. Both devices use Google Chrome. What is happening and how is it fixed?
