Hello! I just want to note that I had the same issue as Leo and used the same solution successfully. And your theme is great! I installed Aseprite around a month ago and finding your theme was about the first thing I did (albeit I usually spend 4 hours in the settings whenever I install something new).

Cool! Or rather.. sweet?

Finally someone that hasn't been deceived into believing that water and fire are opposites or something stupid like that. That's a rare sight. Your characters move a little too quick though.

Hi! I'm one of the developers of the game and made the pixel art for the characters.

None of the art seems to be backwards. The character shooting missiles was supposed to be a ninja/rogue/assassin kind of character, it's holding two daggers backwards. The main character is a wizard/mage/sorcerer, the thing that could look backwards about him is the cape.

I agree with you that the game is too easy at the end. We made much of the actual progression last minute.

We simply didn't have time to polish the art to make it more obvious what it represents, test the game, etc.  There was actually supposed to be animations as well, I have made them, we just didn't have time to add them. We might continue development, so you could check this out in 2 months or something like that and see if it has changed, if you want.

(The game was made for the GMTK game jam and that's why we were short on time, in case you found this from somewhere else)

Windows doesn't allow me to run the program because it thinks it's a virus

okay it wasn't hard to run it anyway but still, lots of inconvenient popups lol

Pressing escape just takes me out of fullscreen..

I like the music! I noticed that I could die from the spikes on the "a different kind of dance floor" level or whatever it was called by moving too quickly.. I don't know how it usually works but I would think that everything is calculated before your character actually moves and the spikes moving would just be aesthetic. It's just a minor bug though.

Hello person reading this comment, I'm one of the pixel artists that made this game!
