Played a good amount and its pretty fun. Visuals are spot on as well as audio. Dialogue is nice. Controls will take a bit of getting used to, switching from character to carriage.
One thing I will note is that, if the level ends while you're inside the carriage, you'll endlessly scroll through the level with no enemies. May have to add a message to tell people to get out of the carriage to continue to the next level, as I thought more enemies would come for a while before getting out.
Also, having the player bullets get blocked by the building walls felt a bit bad to me, since I have to wait for them to be super close to get rid of them sometimes. I can't recall if bat shots could go through walls, unlike mine.

Tried it out and yea its a bit confusing on what can damage you and what can't damage you. For example, there's some red residue that remains on the floor and at first I thought that would damage me. I also thought the R's would damage me.
Also, maybe I'm just bad at the game, but on the second level, I have absolutely no idea how to get past that second high area. Even using slow motion I can't get rid of the tallest one fast enough to be able to jump over it. Not sure if the visuals are placeholders but the audio is spot on as well as the transitions. It feels pretty good when shooting too. I just think a better explanation of how to do certain things would be good in the future, or maybe some checkpoint explanation bubbles.
I've seen a few people have a hard time with that last wave in particular, so I may have to adjust the difficulty of that wave. I may have to adjust the written range of units because it includes the spot they're standing on. The speed option is definitely being worked on. Leena is actually stronger later in the game, including the extra map you can unlock by beating the school gates. But you're right that her cost should probably be adjusted.
All great suggestions! Thank you!
Hey there, I'm honestly very interested in your pixel art, but I honestly can't use them with the license you currently have it under. As I understand it, if I wanted to use these assets in a commercial game, or any kind of game really, its a grey area that the source code for said game must also be distributed in a similar way due to the share alike license, and the wording of said license (which honestly sucks but it can indeed be interpreted that way, so many people avoid CC-BY-SA assets for serious projects, since they want to keep their source code).
Do you have any intention of possibly selling your assets under a different license, like CC0, even if you charge a bit more for it? Or maybe you can sell some of this asset in a separate CC0 licensed bundle?
