Ah, fantastic!

I love this tool, I'm making a bunch of songs for my next game in it. The number one thing I'd like to see is the options to choose different time signatures. Currently making a song in 3/4 time and it does basically fit, but it is awkward and I have to ignore parts of the grid and there's some weirdness when transitioning between blocks.

Anyway thank you for this tool, it has been so helpful.

Oh woops! Thanks for the heads up about the two downloads! Thank you for playing, also.

Hello! Ah, sorry about that!

The unfortunate reality is that I do not currently have a means of supporting the Mac build of the game. I really appreciate your report, though. I'm going to log it, and will address this should I get the opportunity.

Ah, glad to hear it! Thanks!  :D

Ah, sorry to hear that! Are you playing on Windows?

Please include Bugspeed Collider.

Love the look of your main monster. Truly a treat to be this fella.

Ha! I love it. LOVE a good switch-up

Curse these mad taters!!

Glad to hear it, thanks! Planning on adding even MORE cats in the future.

Thanks, and I agree. I'll be adding a lot more UI in the future.

Thank you! No worries, I'm planing on a tutorial and other improvements once the judgement period is over!

Thanks for playing! Yeah, I agree with all of your points. I am working on LOTS of refinements, so stay posted after judging closes!

The visuals and the sound are both quite lovely.

Yes, yes, ALL the cats. Love to have a large cat family. Nice sounds design, too!

Hey, thanks!

Cat games UNITE

Yes more CATS

Who knew sheep could be so slippery? Very cute.

Love to see cat games always.

VERY clever concept, I had a great time!

This is so sweet. I want a bottle to call home.

Hello, thanks for playing! I'm glad you like it. I must admit that it's been a long time since I've worked on this game (it was my first one!), but after opening it up again I was able to remind myself. Getting past Gear is a tricky one where in you must destroy each of the blue "generators" over the course of the world. Most of the generators in Gear flow with that purple energy, but there are five where they flow with blue energy instead. You can destroy them be causing them to get hit with a bullet or explosion. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any more questions!

Oh! Cool, thanks!

I don't know if this is a bug or what, but my global "Analytics" tab always has the "New!" flag on it. This is not the case when I go to my individual games. I've looked at each game's analytics individually. I've tried a number of things. I can't seem to get rid of it.

It is a small thing, I know, but it's making me a little crazy.

Oof, OK. Sorry about that. Thanks for the report! Let me look into this.

We are beginning to test our Linux-building capabilities. If you are running Bugspeed on Linux and are having issues, please let us know about it in this thread. Also: if you're running Bugspeed on Linux and it works just fine, let us know about it here as well!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks! We were pretty interested in the idea ourselves. The idea actually came from a road-trip discussion of the Darwin's Beetle and their weirdly violent ways. It kind of took on a life of it's own after that.

In regards to a demo, we keep going back and forth on that. I think that we will eventually, but not until after development has mostly ended.

Bugspeed Collider has entered the Open Beta phase after roughly two years in development:

https://skelefactor.itch.io/bugspeed-collider

Bugspeed is our first real commercial attempt at putting a game out. It has evolved wildly over the course of development and has grown into a solid brawler for solo and (local) multiplayer play.

Basically: You and up to three friends take control of super-powered beetles to fight each other and/or computer opponents. There's a variety of play modes and variations thereof to choose from, including survival, speed-run, and free-for-all modes.

The beetles can smash, fly, and even throw fireballs across nine fully-destructible world. Combat works differently depending on whether or not you're flying. We've found that the move-set is varied enough such that each player is able to develop their own viable fighting style.

We're at the point now where we just need a lot more hands on the game and get everything feeling just right. We're trying to hit the sweet spot between familiarity and innovation. While we often look to games like Smash Bros and Towerfall for inspiration, we also want to ensure that we are bringing something new to the conversation.

We invite you to give it a shot. Tear up a few rival bugs and the ground they're standing on. Let us know what you think, and as always, thanks for playing.

Please report any bugs you encounter here. Most useful: Screenshots and steps to reproduce the bug.

Yes, we know, Bugspeed, bugs, ha! We swear we haven't heard that one before.
