For the menu, it's 'punch' (P on a keyboard, bottom button on most gamepads)

No, thank you!

Yeah, several seasons have passed since this was 'right around the corner'--my apologies. I've just added an update, but the gist is I'm back at work. Thanks for checking back in

I hope to get it to you soon! What I usually do is have a free demo for the game in addition to the paid full version--but it shouldn't be expensive.

Hi, yes, I make them myself--I start in a program called MakeHuman and then import into Blender to tweak. It's a good pipeline for someone with limited art skills (as mine are, ha.) And yeah, the Unity re-structure sucks, but realistically, I'm not exactly on the brink of selling 200,000 copies anytime soon. I've been meaning to learn Godot Engine--Unity is one of the last non-open-source applications I use.

Just set up PayPal as an option, so you should be able to try again. I'm not sure why it wasn't already--I think there was some issue with VAT before.

Some might even say it's already here! :( Yeah, very sorry it's not out yet--I would try to lean on the hurricane that just rolled through as an excuse, but that was only like a day lost. Just added a couple clips to show some basic combat. Unlike prior games, the guards at least have an instinct to block obvious groin attacks, so something like a one-two punch to keep their hands busy is advised...

I'm putting all of my effort into my current stealthy game, so I don't expect to get back to this for a while. But if you would like to commission a custom version (maybe 1-2 new characters and a new stage) I would be open to creating one.

Yeah, that pop bar was part of my larger issue with scaling graphics to different resolutions, which I should hopefully have resolved for this next one. I do want to focus on the action/gameplay more than the narrative in these, because there are already plenty of visual novels/comics for this sort of thing, but I feel like the story adds anticipation to the busts, so I appreciate you saying that

Thanks for playing! I'm impressed that you won the spar--that's actually pretty tricky to do.  Besides the ambulance ending, the other 4 are determined by how you respond to each of the girls when you're talking to them. Since each dialogue has two choices, there are 4 possible combinations, and each leads to a unique ending (there's one with a rake, and one with some books, for instance.) Let me know if you find them!

I have a pretty terrible track record with predicting finish dates, but end of summer seems doable. I think I just need to cut myself off from any 'feature creep' and stick to the base gameplay for the demo.

Hey Mars! Yeah, I'd love to have the replays in this--it's funny bc the replays in that game used a script that guessed if a bust was imminent and then recorded a few seconds of the animator controllers and then basically made the characters 're-enact' the event, which meant they were almost never identical to the original bust. I'd like to make something a tad less wonky this time, ha

Hey--thanks for the kind words. I did have a Patreon for a while, but I deactivated it bc I became sidetracked with life and didn't want to be charging ppl without more consistent content. But I am slowly chipping away at the next project (~60% done) which, feature creep willing, I plan on getting a stripped down version of out before the start of summer. It's going to be the last one using this modeling pipeline--I'm really anxious to get a more fleshy vitality from the characters. As long as you don't forget these completely, and maybe check in once in a while, that's all the support I could ask for :)

I went through all of my backup drives, but I apparently did not preserve the original game project :(. I can reach out to customer support to get you a refund, or I can send you a free download of one of my other games if there's any you want. Sorry for the hassle!

Hmm, not sure if I encountered that particular glitch, but I wouldn't be surprised if something went hay-wire. The enemies should go down the same way in that stage as the forest one

Ah ok--sure, let me see if I can dig up the old project and rebuild it

Hey--thanks so much. It really hurts not to be making games, but I moved across the country a few months ago and the mo-cap suit project got put on the back burner. Maybe I should do something small to build some momentum again. Would you be interested in this texting game if I started up?

Hmm, is there a file called UnityPlayer.dll in the same directory as the RemWitch folder? I hope the compatibility with newer macOS hasn't broken. Also, try the downloading the free Remerick demo and see if that works.

Im definitely slacking on the social media front. Ive got a twitter account (@AchesJay) but haven't done anything with it yet. I want to have something ready to put out first and then Ill get on top of the networking

Yo! Yeah, probably seems like I died, but the new game is well underway. It's a Metal Gear Solid parody with you sneaking around unleashing evil busts. Don't want to jinx anything, but hopefully will have a playable demo out before the end of the year.

This was just a quick demo of the text message introduction, so it's literally only just that sequence. Sorry, I'll be working on new content soon!

Yeah, itch can be picky about what cards they'll accept. If you want to message me groinpaingames@gmail.com I'll see if I can fix it

yeah, it's on hold for the foreseeable future--I have way too many other projects going. But now that I think of it, the new mo-cap system I'll be using for the current game will probably save me a lot of time if I come back to this one. I also mostly finished one more character for this that i never released, so maybe instead of a full release I'll do a 75% one day

(1 edit)

Those are great ideas. The new game will actually not be this GTA-style one (though I may return to this one later) but it WILL involve sneaking around as a thief (with Metal Gear Solid types of guards/controls) so some of your suggestions may fit. Definitely agree about adding an unlockable all-nude mode and random BB conversations you can overhear (those should be fun to record.)

And you're welcome to do the Italian subtitles when it's all done--thanks for the offer!

Don't know the price yet--it will probably be cheaper for early adopters on Patreon, and slightly more after it's released, but definitely would keep it under $10.

Hey Calpalf--doing well, how about yourself? I didn't forget. I've actually finally started getting some work done on my next bb thing. I'm going to be moving in about a month, and after I set up at my new place, I can finally start doing the motion capture. I'm really excited (and a little nervous :p) to make what I think is probably the first game to capture actual ballbusting in the model animation. The trailer should showcase the real-life kicks with the in-game footage side-by-side. Plus, of course, voice actors for the dialogue should add a lot to the effect.

Hey! Yeah I know it's been forever. I had started working on setting up a motion capture system, so that all of the animations in the game would be based on actual busts. But then the pandemic kicked in and I had to put all of the plans to bring in actors/actresses on hold. Hopefully I'll be able to work on it again sometime soon

Was the bundle you originally downloaded for macOS? Or Windows? (you should see 'macOS' somewhere in the file names) If so, I haven't heard of that problem before and will need to check whether Unity builds differently for OS X now.

Yeah, demo ends right after the texting--the full game is you running around in 3rd person, getting your balls kicked around town for various reasons as you try to grind out the money you need

check. check. and check.

Still plenty of work to go, so I can still take requests. What would you like to add?

Always be neglecting the mac users :) Thing's now rectified. But it really is just a tiny demo

Work/life picked up and I sort of had to drop doing these to make time for non-bb games. I do have a chunk of another one put together that I'm hoping to put up maybe early 2020. Anything in particular you'd like to see in it?

This was only a demo and so exhibition is the only mode that was completed, unfortunately :(

Hi--glad to hear you enjoyed it. Yes, I think that's basically the story: slapping the king's balls was originally meant as a way for the women to occasionally object to his decisions, but the witch did it continuously in an effort to seize control. Kind of like a veto or filibuster (emphasis on the 'buster')

There isn't going to be much nudity in this one, so you won't be able to see any genitals clearly. But I think it's a good idea for the referee to punish the balls of any man who gets too close. I'll do my best! These are still just a side project.

Yeah, that sequence has given a lot of ppl trouble. You need to line Castra in front of the male skeleton (the one with jewels for jewels) and the prince in front of the female skeleton (make sure both levers are highlighted) and then press SPACE.

Patreon is resurrected! Patrons at $2 tier and higher get access to all itch.io releases, as well as some exclusive demos. Tell your parents! Tell your pets!

Yeah, BBHigh was fun--I definitely remember playing at least the first episode. Ironically, part of the reason I went the 3D animation route was because just about every bb game on tap was visual novel (dozens of them if you count Japanese titles.) I have a number of stories I've written (or plan to write) that I never thought would work as games, but maybe they'd work for that. And the next one will be nudity-optional, regardless--it would be nice to be able to post a trailer to YouTube or have someone do a Let's Play that won't get flagged, for once. You may also want to petition Havock for such a thing, as I think he's already put one out.

Thanks! Yeah, totally agree about the splits--that would have gotten more mileage out of the situation. A couple of the giggles were absent because it felt like it would drown out the audio of the action, but there are definitely places it could be without stepping on any other toes (or balls.) The original intention was to reset back to the main menu, but I quickly realized that also resetting all of the characters/variables and such was going to be an extreme hassle, and probably lead to many, many playthrough bugs--the code gets to be a bit spaghetti in the late stages of any game. And I did notice that the rake ending leads to a soft-lock--exactly the same as the other. It looks like everyone who has purchased is free to re-download at any time, so I'll throw up a fix for some giggling and that ending tonight.

You're not the first to ask for a purely-fighting game--I think I mostly avoided it because I know I could never make one with the refined control system of a real fighting game. But, yeah, like everyone else I grew up with the Johnny/Cassie Cages of your Mortal Kombats or Kilik/Seongs of your Soul Caliburs doing low blows and would love a game tournament built around it. I'll have to think about it, but if it seems possible without too much trouble, I'll give it a shot--maybe like 3 to 4 male characters and 3 to 4 female, each with a special move,  and then maybe 3 stages. Custom taunts I could actually do in-game without much difficulty, and it would automatically save to a config file for the next time you play. If anyone else has wants/wishes, feel free to chime in here.
