Thanks for playing! Yea the text overlap is a jumbled mess of code so gonna need to rewrite that for future updates, audio is a great suggestion that I'll try implement. Hope you enjoyed

don't worry it's all good, I did think it was pretty underwhelming but I had to spend most of the jam making the art and the world gen, I'll definitely try work on it more and add more mechanics and features after the jam, thanks for the feedback

The game looks really nice, the music is bopping, and the controls are pretty smooth and fluid. If you're planning on improving this I could suggest to try adding some sort of UI, its pretty hard to tell things like current HP. The hitboxes felt a little bit unforgiving, I thought I was hitting the snakes but I wasn't, but then when I come close they hit me so the range is a little small. But overall it was cute and fun to try out (also setting up the multiplayer in 48 hours is impressive!)

Thanks, hoping to improve it with the feedback from the comments here after the jam ends

Interesting game, not sure what the ability to fire was for but I could see some potential

Interesting game, not sure what the ability to fire was for but I could see some potential

This is amazing, I'm loving this game, its hard, has upgrading potential, and the hardest challenge is not to run into your own shots, 10/10

I like books, I like reading, this has reading, I like reading. Fun story, but I'd give some flavour or some reason for the options that result in:"you dont find anything here"

That was interesting, the mechanics all worked together neatly, combining was very well implemented, it was a bit laggy when they were split (im guessing rendering both scenes twice?), overall I'd work on improving performance and it should be a fun arcade game

I'm loving this idea, this could be really well improved into a full game, I suggest adding the potential for movement (rockets) and maybe mouse aiming because I felt the autofiring was a little bit inconsistent. I'd love to play a more polished version of this (also zoom out as the station gets bigger and bigger)

Fun game! I think the controls are a bit lacking, maybe a keyboard control where you select a bird then select what you want to connect to it with wasd or arrow keys might fit this better!

Interesting idea but it really feels like just another generic platformer and the theme isn't really being represented in my opinion, I also couldn't get past the first level after reaching (what i assume is the wall or a door at) the end. But the movement was really satisfying, better than most games it felt really snappy (in a good way)

Cool game! Sound effects could be a little bit quieter and I would've loved to see different terrain that blocks the laser so you can't just fill the screen and let the asteroids run into the laser, also the characters were slower than the asteroids so sometimes an asteroid would pass by at the front and I would never be able to reach it in time, but other than that it was fun!

This was a fun game, I'd love to see more words being added to the chain and maybe having it be longer. The delay between moves could be reduced for more fluent gameplay but other than that great job!

That was fun, my highscore was 46, add a timer to this game and it a perfect little speedrun game

That was beautiful, its a fun concept but my brain isn't big enough to control both of them without messing up every 2 seconds

Daaamn, this game has potential, it was really fun to play but the cost of the upgrades was to high and i only played long enough to get the second gun, it was too tedious to shoot down 50 birds at a rate of about 5 per run due to slow reload speed, otherwise it was fun

Boing Boing Boing, that was fun (even though it was frame-y for me, I wish my computer was better so I could play this game as intended)

Feels like a mix between polybridge and line-rider, cool execution! I'd like to see the glow effect reduced though, it felt like a little bit too much

Thats a really cool idea, I can imagine this as a mobile game you might play on an airplane or something, its pretty soothing, could potentially add some more mechanics that prevent the simplest solutions to being the right answer in every case

Cute game, original concept, I remember seeing the paper sketches of these levels in the progress-update chat, im glad they worked out! :D

I liked the artstyle, it reminded me alot of celeste and I noticed some of the sprites were premade free sprites (like the skeleton), the gameplay couldve been fleshed out a little bit more i feel, overall interesting idea

Interesting interpretation of the theme, I feel like this could be polished a little bit more for some more replayability value, but it has some great art

Cool game, orb was a little unpredictable and the grabbing/throwing midair felt a bit like cheating/cheese, but it was fun to play

I'm not usually the kind of person to play these sorts of games but it really has a spark of something big

I liked it! it has a bopping soundtrack and the controls feel responsive (toooo responsive), its fun but challenging (note the controls on the main page, its hard to get anywhere without them)

Its a cool game, level 3 too hard for me though, haha, I like it!
