Enemies have a lot of health, they are fast and spawn quickly and on top of that the player you don't control doesn't stay in place. All of this makes the game really difficult, so the most valuable strategy is to brute force the level hoping not to take too much damage in the process.

However, I really like the art direction !

I think i overlooked playtesting so I didn’t know how others would play this game. Will definitely play test it in next jam.

I think the concept is interesting, but the game itself is kinda lacking. Controlling one at a time is simpler to understand, but makes avoiding damage harder than controlling both at once. The player has so much health that the best strategy was often to just tank damage and not worry about actually avoiding the enemies. Also, there's not much indication when you've won the level. The level transition happens after a delay, so it doesn't feel quite as connected, and there's no animation or such for having both reach the end. Something to tell the player they won the level would have been nice to see.

Developer

thanks for your feedback I will try and implement this in my next game(hopefully)

Interesting concept, liked it! With some additional polish, it would be quite good!

Your aesthetic, while simple, really works. the only thing on that front would be to make the exit much clearer. Good work

Thanks!

Interesting game, not sure what the ability to fire was for but I could see some potential

Developer

Fire was to kill the enemies but I wasn't able to create a proper enemy script in the time limit so they just stuck to the wall. Anyway Thanks for playing

I really like the simple graphics, and the idea is pretty good. The goal being the same color as the enemies is kinda confusing but other than that it's pretty good!

Lacks a bit of graphics and the goal really should be more differentiable from the enemies but was fun overall.

Developer

Thanks I will keep it in mind next time

The physics of that are really cool, but I wish the right shift changed who moved, rather than the left. My pinky isn't coordinated enough to be that fast!

Developer

oh, Thanks for playing
