Straightforward yet challenging! I found myself trying several times just to get them diamonds!
Sometimes, switching from jumping to sliding felt a little unresponsive, but I got the hang of it after a few runs (had to really time it precisely XD).
Overall, the control is really intuitive, and charming visuals! Great game!

But honestly, at first, it was intentional for the player to be unable to backspace. I just started thinking the same way you mentioned at the last hour before submission.
Ahh, FYI, I suggested to my friend to implement a backspace feature, but we didn’t have time to do it (since we only started development on day 4 of the game jam, and I only thought about it in the last hours before the submission deadline).
It’ll probably be added in the next update!

Yeah, me and my team noticed it as well! If you found hard enemies at the beginning, it must be the anomalies we set up as the game twists. Sometimes they appear too often—we tried to balance it, but since we started our game on the 4th day of the game jam, we just submitted the game the way it is. 😅
I was really confused of what to do in the game, but I figured some mechanics to survive the game, even though I only lasted for 2 days lol. The visual is really promising tho, I really love the rendering especially combined with the flickering lighting!
