Very nice demo, would really love to see this fleshed out and improved, Liked casting spells, and since they're all aoe it doesnt matter where you are looking so it just added more pressure when casting the spells to not see the enemies.

Yes, its seeded and procedurally generated, it has set angles it can curve and the obstacles and boost are random. Yes, I agree that the player is a little too small and often in the way, There is a vague thump when you shoot the attack and a gurgling sheep sound when it hits and transforms something, but it seems to get drowned out by the music, you can adjust the volume in the option, by pressing escape.

Thanks for playing :)

Great, reminds me of animal well

Great, reminds me of 2D version of Ninja gaiden black, plays really well too. Love when games have ultimate technique that you can charge and make you invulnerable while executing them.

Is this the second open well type game?

Thank you for the feedback, yes the collision is really weird sometimes.

I love how the mechanics are less is more, only jump and throw bomb. but you can do really clever stuff, like throw bomb up to cook it, and then throw down as it lands and get double rocket boost.

Very nice, would love sound effects and a little more hit feedback, but great gameplay loop overall, some enemies are spawning outside of the map and some enemies are hurting you after they die. Regardless really well done

is this game always finite or am I missing something?

pretty good, of course just needs more depth. It isn't very clear that the rock also makes the attack ranged and there isn't much point in choosing a card for attack when there are only two types of attack.

Need to be careful about the mouse input it seems to filter out minor movement, so if you move slowly enough it doesn't move, and sometimes the jump is delayed, but the game looks good and you're using post effects well. unfortunate that the enemies are to easy, could have rather removed the gun from the player and solely made it a platformer / bullet hell game.

Very fun, has a good vibe to it, the NPC are just a little bit too dumb, if they lose you, they just continue as if nothing happened, even if you enter a hiding spot, so you can immediately lose aggro by going into hiding, this makes the game more about making it to a hiding spot rather than stealthing around :)

Seems to me like I'm going up the marsh.
Kind of easy to get stuck and having to restart
