what a polished game for a game jam, congrats !

such nice art ! the core idea is very original, simple to understand and enjoyable to play, congrats !

fun little game, I feel like the car moves a bit too much to the side when you press the left/right arrows, especially at the first stage :)

thank you for the feeback ! we reintroduced the cursor after the submission deadline and it does make things easier, so we’re working on a post jam release to fix controls !

thank you, this is what we’re focused on for the post jam release !

thank you for the feedback ! we will probably speed up the reeling out animation of the tape for the post jam release !

thanks haha, glad to see more kaiju games out there !

thank you ! we agree with everyone, we’re working on a post jam release with a mouse cursor and some other control improvements :)

Thank you for your comment, all valid criticism ! Btw, you can scroll / hit left-right arrow keys or A/D to scroll the instructions :) I think we should have added a scrolling icon to tell you you could !

thank you so much <3 we are working on making the controls easier for a post jam release :)

very cute game and idea ! i agree with the other comments about RNG, and about having a clear objective, if you decide to continue working on the game, which I think you should :)

chill and cute little game, I liked that the clients asked for things with adjectives so that you have to find the right object, there’s definitely more to do on this I think !

such a nice presentation, congrats ! the end was a bit too slow, maybe it needed one or two upgrades to the speed ?

nice idea and art, it’s just a bit infuriating when you get to the end because antimatter is a bit too powerful, and you have to take care of the biggest mass as well as forming another one, which is near impossible when you are in a high velocity period

would have really benefited a tutorial I think ! Presentation is nice, I think the scaling idea can be further developed :)

Making a game that looks that good, has that good of a music, but is also as cleverly designed as it is and enjoyable to play, during a jam, is a feat, congrats !

Thanks a lot !

Music and art look incredible, as well as the main mechanics, but I would make the early levels easier by giving more powerups than strictly necessary because it felt very hard right from the start :)

the core mechanics is nice, I liked the fact you get more roots as you progress but I think it needs a bit more variation as you grow ! Also I didn’t see the end screen cause I was clicking when it appeared :’(

Thank you so much ! Yep the mouse cursor needs to come back, sometimes less is not enough ! Thank you for your feedback and for your game which is one of our favourite of this jam !

Thanks a lot ! You’re right about the position reset that’s the closest to a ‘recoil’ feeling we got in the time of the jam but there is room for improvement here ! We’ll absoluteley keep working on it thanks for the encouragement !

Man how you managed to play with a touchpad is beyond me ! Actually we feel that a controller would be the best input for the game but decided against it to allow more player to try the game in the context of the jam. Maybe in a future update ! Thanks for trying our game !

We felt having a static tutorial (although animated) was easier and faster to implement in those 4 days than a specificly designed level.. But it’s tru that you kinda get launched in battle immediately. We’re thinking of way to improve that in the post-jam updates. Thanks for the feedback !

art is very nice, the concept clicked immediately, it was just a bit too hard for me to dodge the missiles :)

Thanks a lot ! We definitely want to expand on it in the following days/week and comments like this keep the fire burning !

Haha no u 👉👈. We loved your game !

Thanks a lot fellow kaiju fighter. The learning curve can be challenging but without challenge there is no triumph in victory (meaning we’ll adjust it post-jam)…

The outro was the last item on our to do list… To be honest we also finished the intro in the last 30min (at least before the extension) but be sure that we’ll add one post jam ! Thanks a lot for your kind words ! We loved your game as well !

Thanks !

Yeah the grappling can be a bitch at time but after all it’s just a tape mesurer you have to be understanding ;)

Thank you ! You can always zoom out in a sort of bullet time with your mouse wheel (and then zoom back in).

Thank you for playing our games and liking it ! Definitely agree about the cursor, day-one fix once the jam is over !

Thank you very much for your kind words ! Controls is deffinitely our main focus for post-jam improvement !

Tutorials are always tricky in a GJ because you end up spending more time designing them that the main loop… Maybe we could just give the player a bit of time to figure out the controls before the kaiju starts attacking. Ther is always room to improve, thanks for the feedback !

Thank you so much !

We couldn’t figure out the web version in time for the jam but we’ll try to add it once it is finished. Glad you liked it !

Thank you for your kind words ! You’re right about the cursor and we’re thinking of bringing the mouse back after the jam is ended.. Thank you for the feeback !

the idea is fun ! The only thing for me is that even with the rerolls, it felt a bit unfair to get non-matching cultists. Maybe it’s something that can be addressed without touching the core loop ?

The pixel art is stunning and the idea is very cool but the keybiding of the controls is killing me. From what i understand reading others, this should probably be played on controler so i might give it another try later with one ! Still the concept is dope !

best game of the jam so far. The music, the style, the smart puzzle design ! I admit it took me a while to get how the pushing against wall behaved, maybe it needed a few easier levels to explain it more slowly, but besides that I hope you develop it into a full game !
