Definatly my favourite game in the jam so far!! Super impressive that this was made using pygame, and as you'r first pygame game! I found it most engaging so far, good job on that! I feel like it could maybe have a different win condition, Im not really sure what to change, nice

mhm :/

Yeah I do still want to look into it, it would be hard tho xd, and thanks!!

tysm for the feedback man! It means alot! And yes, originally it was completely different - I had the die roll like a real die and a gui element showing each side and the bottom of the dice. I made puzzles involving tight spaces and trying to get through a numbered door(I left bits and bobs of this stuff in the source code XD) sadly it was incredibly tricky and unintuitive, even when holding a real die, so I removed the ui and then scrapped it completely xD. I made a really neat efficent system for it if you'r interested in that? and awwwwe thanks so much for the feedback! I still think somehow adding a spatial element would be cool, I tried to do that with the mechanic the last level(tiles that toggle each time you move) introduced but due to a few problems the last level wasn't great xd. I think with work I could make those better and add ones that toggle ever other move of stuff!

just from scratch enough for me XD, nothing like when people use c++ and just opengl

yeah it definatly seems interesting to code, and I, 100% can see why thats not possible in a game jam XD

awwe thanks, Im glad you enjoyed it!

the movement felt super snappy and the game felt very fast, I think adding another enemy would make it much better!

it seems really interesting but the next level button wouldnt work? I was running  it on linux w/ wine wich may effect this?

The idea was really creative and I thought that could work well! I think the presentation was much better than most games. The issue was that, being left handed, I was struggling with the controlls

sadly has an issue opening with wine on linux

I found it super creative! The presentation was also nice, the main issue for me is that I didnt find it too fun and that I couldn't harvest one of the crops due to different keyboard layouts xd

I think the gameplay felt a little bland and unintuituve - a controlls screen would had been useful, letting me know that its right click to move forward and left click to attack, I loved the presentation and the way you got to see the dice rolling at the start, also somehow survived after my death and walked straight through a building

ahh ty that worked

It doesn't really have anything to do with the theme. What did you use to make it?

the presentation is amazing!!!! but Im asking because I wanna play this - just stuck on the difficulty select screen

Doing everything in the game felt super satisfying! I really liked the sound design. I think the mechanic seemed interesting but the puzzles didn't feel like puzzles - It was more like do this then this. My favourite entry so far though!

I think a tutorial would had helped alot - I was a bit confuzed, but I think the art was ok, especially the background, and Its nice to see a creative interpretation!

I loved how creative your interpritation was! I agree with most people that the jump was too floaty. After a while I stopped playing because it was unclear to me why I fell through some parts of the floor. I found the art/music style very fitting and quite liked that

tysm!! and yeah I agree the main problem is that when playing the first few levels you are solving puzzles whilst figuring out the mechanics

:D

source has a bug in it - comment out the line I did(line49), save and run it again and the win screen will work!

XD, seems actually quite professional w/ stuff like the slo mo

:D

I def know what you mean, I eventually wanna make a stamped rendering system like you did, to fix all of this, but Im kinda stopping scratch tho, thanks!

Lovely alternative to bfxr, sadly looking for something else for the tool to overlay different sounds on each othe

comments insted of forum next time?

pretty fun!

woah poke thats amazing! only thing I wasnt keen on was tjhat the mechanic involved waiting untill high.low enough and im inpatiend lol

also thonks

thonks

yeah, what they said

agree I do

love the art style!
