Hi! I am a beginner programmer, trying to gain experience and stuff so I am looking for a team where I can contribute something. I could do some of the basic programming, work with the UI, maybe level design and stuff. I'll try to help wherever I can, and I am motivated, so if you'd like my noob face on your team pls reach out :)

Tbh, can't say much, the game is amazing!

I really like the game itself, the idea, music, sound and particle effects, even the jumping mechanics adds something new and challenging to the game. However, I feel like it's too hard for me, level 1 already felt impossible lol. But it really feels like a game I would come back to fromt ime to time and play, congrats, good job :)

lovely game and I especially love the approach to the theme! Two notes from my side is 1. sometimes the jumping felt a bit weir, like got stuck on the edges and 2. some typos. However, they are not too big mistakes that they take from the overall experience.

I liked the main idea and that you combined a tower defence-like game with cards. I enjoyed it a lot and would like to see more levels! One thing though was that it was a bit hard to read the descriptions on the cards, especially when they partly covered each other. Maybe a  hover effect or something for zooming in a bit would be nice :) All in all, congrats!

I really like the concept of it and the music is fitting too. Unfortunately I couldn't get going with it, the main menu was messed up for me (buttons above one another) and also the how to play was very hard to read, so couldn't really figure out how to play. I rotated the stuff, clicked and so on and nothing worked :/

Welp... there was a warning... :') good game!

Totally loved it!

Based on how obsessed I am with cafés I could play this game all day long lol. Really like the art, little animations and the gameplay itself. I stopped playing after level 2 so I don't know if many things change or are new but even if not there are definitely some features that can be made to add to the game itself. However, I struggle to see the theme connection in here. Reading the title I thought you listen to the workers' stories and form a deeper connection but didn't feel that after playing. So my other guess would be that the order of the steps for making coffee?

(1 edit)

I really like the concept and believe that it can be a great game if polished a bit. I especially like that at some points they can use each other's abilities. For me the controls were a bit  too off, as it felt "hard to reach" tab when I clicked A for example, but could be my own stuff. I have encountered a bug (at least I guess they were not intended) though when I was jumping with the blue character, somehow it jumped through the left part of the walls and it just fell into the unknown and also I could jump on  the wall and multiple times as well.

Well-thought and nicely made game!

Loved it! Amazing art and sound effects and interesting gameplay too. Seemed very clean and well-thought and detailed.

Oh, this one really required some thinking lol. Enjoyed it, congrats, nice one!

Simple, yet fun and spot-on game.

it's mine, with only 6 ratings :')

Thank you! Glad to hear that.

Oh yeah, I should have added like an error handler but honestly I was in a bit of a rush to complete the game on time. But after the jam I'll polish it a bit.

Oh, there's been some problem with the result strings and actually not all of the combinations got covered :'D So that might be the reason. Have you tried with other combinations as well?

I'll link mine as well, since it seems to be quite unpopular so far.

Hello! Does doing "research" regarding some programming concept go into the 3-hour time-frame, or only the actual time spent on writing the code counts?
