Well done! After I worked out what I was supposed to do (all thanks to the tutorial) this was a fun game to play! I loved the art style and the overall concept really fits the theme well!

Thaanks!!  :)

Very creative idea - the Case File/Pages is very unique and presents quite a fun challenge. I had a huge amount of fun in this game! The pacing also felt quite good - Week 1 was perfect for getting your feet wet, while Week 4 is very hectic, trying to get everything done in time (managed to complete week 3, failed week 4). Definitely becomes quite intense when you get 5 clues, all in binders hehe. The art style also suits the game very well, and I loved the music and sound effects too. Thank you for including the tutorial though - concept seemed confusing when I read the written description, but after doing it in the tutorial it all "clicked".

Overall, probably one of the most fun games I've tried in this jam!

Really great idea! It has some "Papers Please" vibes. It's SO good that You gave a tutorial. I was trying to figure the game out without it and it was not easy :D

Unfortunatelly it gets boring after first week but I can see a big potential here. If there were more mechanics it'd be a really great detective game.

Art and music is very fitting and well made.

Overally - pleasure experience <3

Definitely a cool idea. It's the cork board with string from TV, but this time you get to create it yourself and solve crimes doing it! As a few other people have said, the main mechanic is good but becomes repetitive pretty quickly. I realize you may not have had time to add in more mechanics though.

you're right, thanks!

really cool submission! the artwork was very nice, game was polished, and the music set the mood well. good use of the connection theme. the only downside was that it was a bit hard to understand at first, even with the tutorial. gets easier over time though

very cool!

The sound design is fantastic; the art direction is impressive. I got a bit confused initially, but I would play it more.

Thanks!

This was confusing at first even with the tutorial. But once you get the hang of it it is pretty simple. Just find the correct binder with the correct page and connect all together. But it gets tedious fast having to open multiple binders.

I hope there are some mechanics that makes me feel like an investigator instead of just connecting the sequence. But the game is pretty polished.

A lovely looking puzzle game with solid mechanics and relaxing gameplay that fit perfectly with the theme.

A great game with amazing well done polish. I don't know how you did it either, but bravo and hats off to you! Another strong competitor in the jam :)

It was a bit tricky to understand what to do, even in the tutorial. I think it's because there is a lot of visual information instead of explain how to play step by step. But the art style is very good and I like the way everything is very smooth to play (mecanic, sound...) so good work !

A fun game with a simple mechanic. I liked the art and the direction of the game, perfectly fits the connection theme! I feel like it becomes a bit repetitive after a couple of weeks and I expected some extra investigation tools the further the game goes. But great job! Nice and polished!

Developer

thank you! maybe i will implement something after the jam

this a good game when you get the hang of it.

Developer

Thanks!

I see that many people find it hard to learn the mechanics of the game, I have to make it clear that you don't always have to connect all the clues, only those on the board on the top right and in that order.  In addition, the issue of changing the crime tests when turning the page is an error, before it worked fine, when implementing the tutorial I changed something that made it stop working in the game, when the vote is over I will change it, just as I could implement more deduction mechanics, thanks for the feedback everyone and I'm glad you like it.

This took me a while to figure out what to do despite reading the tutorial lol, but it was very satisfying game once I had! The evidence booklets confused me at first as I thought the colorful scribbles were apart of the puzzle for some reason haha.

Developer

haha thanks for the comment, yes you're not the only one xD

My playthrough, showing I was dumb for about 6 minutes until I knew what to do. Then I did the thing for 2 weeks. But then the game felt like I was doing a job. Great art and some potential for this being a mechanic in a larger detective game,  but the core loop of forveer opening and closing binders was short on fun.

Developer

Thank you so much, I have already seen that it is confused at first
