I have done an update right now, could you check if it is better for you?

I liked how calm the music on the game is, the concept is really great, I would love to make this kind of game, one thing to check on it though would be any visual indication that you set anchor, only having the sound don't make it feels to responsible yet
The other thing is a problem with some kind of players and I'll probably won't be the unique on that, the camera movement makes me feel a bit dizzy, so I would not be able to finish a game like that, experimenting on lowering the speed or just making the map bigger for the camera movement don't being too instrusive are nice ways to start, would love to discuss how you did your level design though!
The game is lagging right now because I haven't had time to implement a pool for the sprites, so the enemies are spawning infinitely, the towers aren't reusing any instance, I would need to know if the lag was from the start of the game or if it was after some time. But thanks! We're going to finish this game anytime soon!
Wished I could play the game, I think that it is missing some bunch of things:
I think for a game like this that is not intuitive to play should have some kind of manual or tutorial. After much trial and error I could find that I needed to click on every cursor and, for me, the only that worked correctly was the magnifier which would let me see the items.
The graphics are nice, the only problem is that I was trying to search if I needed to lit up some fire before playing, you said something about the font but I really believe you should use a clearer font to read, take a look into Soul Sacrifice(PS Vita) gameplay, the entire game situates inside a book with a dark atmosphere but there's not really fancy font.
With that things being said, your game has much potential for being awesome!
I thought the game idea turned great! What I didn't like was the slow part of the game, I could see that you tried to tackle this problem with adding the SHIFT "frame-skip", I'm used to playing games where the main objective is upgrade, but I think that getting the initial upgrade takes too much time, if you take a look on "Learn to fly" it could give you some ideas
Other thing, the first time I lost the game I didn't saw that it was because of gas, I recommend showing an alert the first time you're running out of gas, and I think the Hud is a bit too hidden

I like the theme at all, I was even thinking about doing a game like that before, it just motivated me again!
But there are things I didn't like about it:
The font used for text-reading is really really messy so it makes it hard to read and that discouraged me from reading what is on-screen(The font is nice, but for reading common text is a lot).
The graphics are awesome, but I think that controlling the raft a bit frustrating as the time to change its direction takes a lot of your health, with that said, I think that the game item's appear is either too random or they move too fast, as It was very very hard to survive
