We will develop it further. While playtesting it we found that some players found it easy and some found it hard. So we will definetly add a hardcore mode and a easy mode:)
Thanks for your kind comment:)

Hi,
In this jam, I wanted to form a team with people either who are beginners or don't have much time to contribute. So if you are shy about joining a team this is the place for you! Any one can join and contribute.
- We will use Unity.
- We will use Discord to coordinate.
I will be making music and will try to make time to code. Since there can be only 3 people per team, we would need someone to make art and someone to program.
As the Team Beginners our motto is: "Keep it simple, keep it smart and make it fun."
You can reach out to me here or at discord: ventiw
Hello Lanyard, I finally had the chance to try out your game and I enjoyed it A LOT. I probably played it for more than an hour. I will be waiting for new updates:)
I really liked the level designs(As you will see later in this comment) and the weapon types. Animations seems real smooth and the movement feels amazing. Soundtrack is really solid as well. I have a few ideas for you:
-Melee weapons would make the gameplay more diverse.
-You can add a different game mode which is more like an endless tower defense type. It feels good watching enemies coming downstairs maybe adding some usable turrets and enemy waves would make a good game mode!
-Boss fights would make the game much better.
Also after playing your game for a little while I decided to do a speedrun. My current record is 2:56 but I think I would have been a 2:52 if I didn't went for the 3rd enemy I went for. I found a good strategy for the final level: Which is to upgrade the shotgun to level 2 and waste all the ammo of the carbine in the stairs. Your level design is amazing. It leaves room for a lot of different playstyles! Also most of my runs died in the level 2. Those robots can surround you and kill you in seconds lol.
I will definetly try to go sub 2:50 :) I hope this speedrun maybe helps you somehow:) Here's my speedrun:
This means so much to me! We really did put up a hard-work. We were kind of discouraged because of the state of the game when I submitted it. I felt like I betrayed my teammate because all the errors were due to my responsibilities. Maybe I should've spent less time making music for our game so it wouldn't have any problems when we first uploaded it but thanks to your kind words we really feel encouraged again! We are really new to the game development scene and we don't really know a lot about stuff but I hope by keeping the game updated and adding new features we could build an audience. Itch seems like the correct place to do so.
Thank you so much!!!
Well to be honest it was in an un-playable state when the game was uploaded to the Jam :) I wish I had just another day so I could have made a better submission that would most likely seen success but this is my first finished project and I am proud of it no matter what. Thank you for your kind comment:)
Thats interesting. I never seen the text doing that. I already fixed up the camera and UI problems but I am not sure if it is allowed to update it. I will upload a new downloadable file that works (from the tests that I have ran) I am not sure where would I disclose the changes I have made as this is the first time I am using itch.
However by the time you have read this, the file will probably be up as a new downloadable windows version. Thanks for your interest. Comments like these make my day. Cheers!
Edit: The file is now up. I think I fixed all the issues that I have seen up untill now. Except for hitboxes sometimes being weird.
You are right. It was way too ambitious and by the time I've realized that it was too late. We didn't have any time for testing so I didn't know that UI would be so small :// UI is easily fixable however, the camera is where all my hopes went down. I should've just used cinemachine but I didn't. And I don't know if it is ok to fix the camera using cinemachine after the jam ended.
