Hey everyone, hope your jam was a success! I want to create a last minute thread to check out each other's games as one final push to support each other at the end of the jam. Please post your game below and I will try to get around to rating you, and please don't hesitate to check out our submission as well: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-9/rate/1931684

Best of luck, and see you all tomorrow morning!

Thanks for your reply! The team is very flattered.

Great idea! We intended for the stars to be a bonus objective, but some non-skippable stars could be a great idea for a future build, or even keys to unlock the exit.

You can go back to the level selection menu by pressing Esc. Thanks for playing!

Sorry ZmHe! Perhaps this will be added in a future build. We were a bit pressed for time this jam.

Fun little project! One tip would be to normalize your input vectors on the x and y value so that your character does not move at 2x speed diagonally. Other than that, great work!

Love this! Super fun, super satisfying. It reminds me of the old Katamari games I used to play as a kid but in 2D.

Good job!

What an awesome title. I am almost as impressed with the game as I am with how many people managed to coordinate in this timespan. You all did an amazing job, and I am extremely satisfied with the theme tie-in. Really great work overall, and certainly one of my favorites of the jam.

3 days is a great job for this title! I really enjoyed it and you made a great aesthetic. I am a sucker for 2D sprites in 3D worlds. I did get a bit dizzy with the camera, though, and I wonder if it could do with a little more smoothing.

Well done!

This is a nice concept, but I think I managed to skip everything by entering the tent I spawned in! I did enjoy playing through most of the levels.

This is a neat game, and I especially enjoyed the concept of all your little characters, and you had a nice little story thrown in too. I really enjoyed testing out all the skills you made!

One thing to note would be that if you normalize your input vectors, your character will no longer move twice as fast when both vectors are active (moving up and right at the same time for example).

Well done, super fun!

Super fun game, and I always enjoy Overcooked / Diner Dash style games like this. The movement did feel a little bit imprecise (though this may be a design decision since the ghost floats around), but it's something I quickly got used to.

I like the level design of this game, and the mechanics were on-point for the theme. You did a great job at exploring different ways to utilize the ghost form especially, and I had a fun time solving the puzzles you made for us.

This was a cool looking game! I like how the enemies were animated, and each attack animation was clear when it was starting and when it was finishing. One change I would make is allowing the player to operate the Attack / Defend buttons with their keyboard instead of the mouse, as I found watching the health bars, energy bars, and enemy animations, then having to click based on those a bit too much.

Neat clicker game, and like some other commenters, I also did not expect a clicker game here! I personally enjoyed the theme of the game, but felt it didn't connect to the overall theme of the jam as much as I would have liked. I enjoyed the different items to gain, and each were themed appropriately, and I had a chuckle hiring hundreds of "Small Children"!

I really liked the visuals, especially your post processing! Also very calm, surreal, and ethereal vibes which were right up my alley. I wish there were some more sound effects to liven things up a little bit, and I found myself stuck not knowing what to do or where to go on the turtle stage, since I was under the impression that "keeping my spirits high" was a hint to keep moving upward, not to the left. I was also wondering what was going on during the last screen, as I couldn't tell that there was no more to it due to the lack of feedback for the player. The game is very artsy so I wasn't sure if this was another scene.

I cannot wait to play some more of your future submissions!
