Great foundation! Definitely kept my attention. Looking forward to the next update! Here's a link to my playthrough... https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1757910158?t=02h07m35s
Definitely liked the idea of the game. The mechanic itself was pretty enjoyable. However, the UI was a bit rough which detracted from the game loop. Great job putting the game together!
Interesting idea! I ran into a few bugs in the webgl version and some things were hard to see/navigate in the UI, but overall the game is a lot of fun :)
Fun clicker. UI could do with some work - you have some nice fonts, but hand-drawn $ and building, which just didn't match in style. My army of child worker disappeared, though :(
This was a very fun experience. Took me a minute to figure out how to get to upgrades within a day and save them.
i really like the idea of keeping stuff but it isnt working for me. also i miss some music but nevertheless its a nice clicker game
like it but cant keep something. so every day was the same :D
I was playing this game seriously; trying to figure out what you need to do. Then, I go to the upgrades tab and you have child workers there haha. That really cracked me up xD.
Great job! hehe
It's great owning a massive army of children to that work on my machinery. Interesting spin on resetting the factory each day. The game could use some music and sound effects, I didn't realize I was clicking or having any impact at first but with enough time I figured out what to do. Great work! Keep it up!
Loved seeing the money start to roll in as I got more workers and upgrades! I think I ran into a bug on day 3 where none of my clicks were registering, but no idea what caused it. I wish the menus were a bit more intuitive.
Behold my sweat shop factory of soot covered children! This was great fun, I loved seeing the visuals being added as you added more workers. Had a blast playing this despite its simplicity. There's something so satisfying about seeing that number tick up! I had a few issues understanding the UI at first but maybe that's just because I'm a dum dum. Also would have loved some background music and sound effects so I could hear my child workers as they made me rich! Great entry to the jam, well done.
Thanks, the UI could be improved. Will definitely play your game.
Neat clicker game, and like some other commenters, I also did not expect a clicker game here! I personally enjoyed the theme of the game, but felt it didn't connect to the overall theme of the jam as much as I would have liked. I enjoyed the different items to gain, and each were themed appropriately, and I had a chuckle hiring hundreds of "Small Children"!
I like the idea of a clicker and the concept of every day it resets and the choice you need to made about what to keep. Good game.
I didn't expect a clicker game in that jam! It could have made sense if you integrated some kind of "prestige" system like other clickers, because they are a "new beginning", but I like that you went in the other direction, that is way more original and requires more reflexion!
The game was quite fun, but, like the other said, the UI was a bit imprecise. The graphics are good, but I would have liked some little sounds and music ^^.
Overall a great submission, good job!
Fun little clicker game. The mechanic for only being able to keep some of your upgrades makes for some interesting decisions. The upgrades were a bit hard to navigate since they aren't ordered by price (made me think I couldn't afford any at first since the ones you see at the start all cost a ton of money). The art though was nice and the fact that things appear in the background as you buy them
Nice game. It was really fun, especially in the beginning. Some feedback would be that the UI could be a bit more clear and easier to navigate. Other than that great work! :)
I was pretty hooked for the first two days of the game, but after that it was pretty easy to gather money. I was not able to "click" after the first day but my worker upgrades had me covered. Would have loved some audio or sound, as well as different images for upgrades since it was impossible to tell what kind of upgrade to keep after a day. Great work!
Noice Aesthetic. Could have made the gameplay a bit more immersive thou
