Very pleasing sound design. The simple act of rolling the dice was engaging due to the sound/animation. Had a good presentation overall and some quality puzzle work. Twas a chill and fun little jam game!

This game has extreme amounts of charm. The Ent and Dragon sprites were so dang adorable. It plays really well and is concise in its execution. Short and sweet, well worth the time. The only thing I would say as a detractor was in order to pull up the card description to see what it did I would have to go into the card menu, however once there to my knowledge I couldn't back out of that sub-menu. That's my only "complaint", otherwise a fun charming jam game.
I love the art style a lot, made me think of the flash games of old. In fact, the entire presentation was spot on. Unfortunately, I encountered a lot of bugs making it a bit hard to enjoy the general gameplay. However, with those bugs ironed out I see a super fun random dungeon crawler in here! Fun game overall.
I adore games of this genre/ilk and this is no different. It's fun and addicting getting into your own personal loop and that stuff is executed very well. The art is also very nice! The progression and sense of accomplishment is my biggest gripe though. I played for a verrry long time to get everything and it really never felt like I was ever earning considerably more than when I started. I was quite disappointed when I bought the 1000 coin wheel and when it was used it gave me a measly 2 coins...not worth it in the slightest. So progression is very slow and drags the game down a tad but otherwise, a fantastic jam game!
Not bad! The gameplay loop and inherently fun and addicting (I spent more time on this than I intended for sure) but as some others have said I don't see much of the jam theme in here at all. I guess the upgrades are random but at least for me I only had 4 of the same upgrade options each time I leveled up. Pretty bare bones, but quite fun for what it is!
I love the premise and concept of the game itself and you being the rng manipulator for the "player". That's a fascinating idea and I love it a lot. That being said, it is beyond confusing from a gameplay perspective what/how I am actually influencing what. When I thought I had figured it out..I hadn't at all actually lol. Then again, I know it's a 48hr game jam and this is incredibly ambitious so I can't fault it too hard. Very enjoyable experience overall!
This was the first jam game I played and apparently, I forgot to comment lol anywho, I just wanted to commend you on the art and overall presentation. Hungry Dice is absolutely fantastic in the art department, I love it! The game itself ain't too shabby either, although a tad overwhelming. Still, really good jam game.
Great from a presentation perspective! The music and art make a pleasing vibe. The gameplay itself is fun at its core, but frustrating due to there being no buffer between the obstacle spawn and the balls themselves. Had multiple runs end due to having literally 0 reaction time. That being said, for a jam game, this is awesome for the time allotted!
Honestly, one of my favorite jam games thus far. The gameplay loop scratches just the right itch to want to keep going. I will say if the sound that plays when breaking stuff was more satisfying I probably would have played for literal hours. The only thing that stopped me from playing more was getting pushed out of bounds by the collision of the drops, even still this is a great jam game and I would love to see a full release!
I got the bug trapping me lol. That being said, the 2d art is really cute! I enjoyed it a lot. I also like the dice being used in place of normal player choice, it's a neat theme/idea! I do wish I had a little more involvement though (like pressing a button to throw the dice). Otherwise, a very sweet concept that I think could have great potential as an eventual full release!
