Haha, glad you enjoyed playing! Due to the fact that the game was made for a game jam in a limited time frame, I would hardly be able to create enough content to make raising the turtle any more interesting. But I'm definitely thinking about adding more content :)

I really liked the art of space in the game, the planets look cool, for some reason I remembered Dune 2 (Sega Megadrive). The character is also very funny, and the different gravity on the planets is a good move :)
Advice from an interface developer - if something looks like a button, then it needs to behave like a button :)
It would also be nice to add a coyote jump for the character, you can use plugins in Godot, for example PlatformerController2D (good for prototypes, or you can just look at the implementation and repeat it)
And thanks for supporting the controller in your game, I connected it and enjoyed it!
It was fun to play! Despite the abstract art, it is very easy to understand how to play it and what is happening in the game :)
It would be great if the controls were more responsive, now it behaves quite strangely, sometimes the square sticks to the walls or, on the contrary, behaves as if gravity has decreased, but these are all minor things. Also, I would like to advise making a web version of the game, many people do not like to download games at jams
Good idea for the game!
I think the game lacks smooth controls and a proper difficulty curve. It also sometimes felt like it was easier to just stand near the thieves' exit to catch them more easily. At the beginning, the controls felt too fast and abrupt, and I often misclicked.
As ideas for improvement, you could introduce different tools for catching thieves and also thieves with interesting stealing mechanics.
Thanks for your feedback! Yep, I didn’t have time to open a store. I miscalculated the possibilities and timing. Ideally, there should have been a store and procedural world generation. And if it’s absolutely ideal, then boss fights.
And about Downwell, yes, when I thought about descending into the void, this game came to mind and I wanted to get a little closer to its style.
Quite original graphics, pleasant sound effects. An interesting health alternative.
I liked this game!
The particle effects seemed a little strange, they seemed to be too slow and the lifetime was too long. And yet, this is still space and you don’t want to run into the boundaries of the world.
Thank you for creating the game, I don’t regret playing it.
Thanks!
Maybe the store will appear later. While the voting is ongoing, I cannot edit the game. I will look at the results of the competition and if the game finds a response in the hearts of at least a small part of the players, then maybe I will try to improve it to a good state and add a lot of content.
Thanks for your feedback!
The game definitely has a sound when you take damage. Maybe you played in silent mode on your computer? Maybe turning up the volume will help.
Regarding the enemies, if you are talking about bats, then yes, I think their design should have been changed.
In any case, I created the game in about 7-8 days and did not have time to work on it due to bugs and death display. I wanted to show the general concept, because bugs in such a short time are a common thing. Sorry if your experience was unpleasant.
