What's confusing? I typed that I was trying to advance Lucy and get a message I have to work on Kali. That's not difficult. If you haven't reached that point or aren't the coder, no wonder you're confused.

There's a mine and a sawmill, I don't see mountains.
I did the first of the annoying journies, got no crystals. Keep dying on the second because I can't get crystals. I'm not interested in playing these really old-style games within a game. Either make them easier to figure out and play or end them. Thanks
I didn't catch the snitch in the Ginny sequence. I wasn't worried because I figured I could just drag it out of inventory again. However, I've called her to the office a couple of times since and the story just goes through the searching the curtain sequence again and again. How do I do the snitch bit again?
Not far in before a major problem. First Act, Chapter 2. I light the fire, I grab the basket and drop it on the active fire. The game then shows the basket in a box below the inventory, but I can't do anything with it. Left-click, right-click, attempt to drag, nothing happens. I seem stuck. I ESC and it just points to the inventory and the basket again.
What?
Thanks for that fix file. It helped. Now this idiot has another problem: I can't remember where to buy the maid costume. It's been too long since that initial quest with Emily (Is that the lady's name?) I thought it was at that main store, but I clicked on all the mannequins and none seems to be it. Where do I get it?
Trying to repair the camera and my skill is too low. Forgot about the repairing around the mansion. Started working on that and now I'm stumped with the garden hose. I found some comments that you have to buy tape then do some weird synchronization of people in the house, but I can't get to the weirdness.
The store in the mall doesn't have tape. Servix (a hilarious name for the convenience store!) doesn't have anything for sale. How am I to proceed?
Sent the file but haven't heard back. Just entered the game and played a day as a test. Finally got the Poppy storyline continuing, but still confused about the lack of the money for the costume. Can't go into the house without buying, that means I finished the bit that is supposed to get the money; but I still have only 24 credits.
Thanks for the two tips about the dialogue and I look forward to new events.
Yes, that is the thing with Poppy. What file do you need, can I attach it here or do I need to email you?
Missy did sleep with Emily, but the money didn't show and when I go back to the house it tells me she can't get in until I buy the costume.
After a bit of a break, I'm back with two questions and one comment.
On the bad girls quest chain, I got the blackmail and now the quest tells Missy to go to school. However, after a couple days at school, nothing has happened. Is there a trigger I'm missing?
Money is also an issue. I remember the first time at the mistress, there was a comment about an extra 100 credits and that Missy should wait a week. It's been a while, but the money never appeared. It's necessary to buy the outfit and then earn more money. How does it show up?
Finally, while the game is amusing, with a good sense of humor, it's also way too grindy and repetitive. There are a couple of repeatables you can shorten, such as skipping an intro in sports, but there need to be a lot more opportunities to shorten the ones we're seeing way too much.
Thank finally worked, but now I'm done with this.
After finishing that, I wandered to the office and picked up the Longinus case. It then automatically throws me into that with no escape. I've wandered everywhere, found all but the two clues in the upper left of the list, but can't find them or progress. I also have no way to exit the case and do other things, leaving it for later. I've looked through the threads here, and see others have had other problems with this.
I play games for enjoyment. This is now the third time in short order that this game has gone into absolute nonsense that's far to hard to deal with. When it's more complex and annoying than a quest in the MMO's I play, there's something wrong with this.
There's great animation and an interesting story, but it's far too much work. That's sad.
Thanks, I'm finally getting used to that. Here are two more questions:
- In other games, I can easily see the time of day and skip a period. There are a couple of quests that say "night" but I can't seem to figure out how and when I get there. How?
- I'm to the point where Missy wants to take Lola to the pub, but I still haven't figured out how she gets a job. I went into the stores in the town center, but couldn't find one. Hint?
Thanks again
I quit another game because it had an annoying quiz that went on too long and the game wouldn't let you continue without "Passing it." I'm not at a similar point with this. Combat can be very, very annoying. I'm at the point with the fight at night in the house. The first half went way too long, maybe 20 rounds before Sophie showed up with the bat. I'm now much further past that with the f'ing spider. If the three buttons were always the same for the three directions of attack, it would be bad enough; but it's not. I'm fed up with this and it's annoying block in the game.
How do I get past it?
