Love it!

Had fun making the cursed peter griffin and japanese commercial homer

(1 edit)

Thank you!
It's nice that it made you feel like it had a lot of choices, because it actually has very little content :P

But anyways, we will keep updating it and if you liked it be sure to come back later!

Thanks!

I know we have little content, but I wanted to submit it anyway mostly for the feedback and to see if people liked it, so your comment really makes me happy because its what I wanted to see...

One of the initial plans was to add like minigames in some events, sort of like the tasks of "Among us"

And like I said to other commenters, we will keep updating the game soon (TM), so be sure to check it out on the near future. If you forget don't worry, I will probably spam it on the discord server :P

Thank you! I think most of the atmospheric feel is because of the amazing chill music, so it was all because of @PattricioDruetta
We also loved making this game and we are planning to keep developing, so be sure to check it out later!

So glad you liked it! Comments like yours really make us want to keep developing the game :)

We are already planning to add more events and stuff after the jam so be sure to check it out later!

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! We appreciate it a lot

I'm still surprised many like you like the UI (because I made it myself, and I am no artist)

About your points:

- I agree the text should wait for input, but I implemented most of that on the last hours and did little to no testing because I wanted to get done with all of that. Anyways I will fix it after the jam

- About the window, like I said to you on discord, that was the plan, but again I had no time left to implement all of that (and also we had no artist).

- That's a valid point, what I intended to do was to give the player the sensation of "some time passed, you are woken up again to make another desition" but it's true it wasn't clear enough, I think its mostly due to the almost static UI

Currently there are only 6 events, counting the intro and the good ending (wich triggers if no other event is available)

We all liked how the game turned out so we are planning to extend it with many more events and other stuff (probably minigames) that I did not have the time to implement, so we welcome you and everybody else to check on it in the near future

Thanks again for playing it!

Thank you! We're really glad you enjoyed it :)
And yes! you should stay tuned because we are planning on updating the game with more content in the near future

Hey!

I love your pixel generators!. I used this one on a game we made for the godot wild jam #34. You are actually my saviour! we had no artist so this one was the perfect solution haha. So anyway, thank's a lot!

If you want to check out our little game here it is: https://idontkillcoyotes.itch.io/we-trust-you

I had no idea what to do at the beginning but thanks to that good doggo I was able to finish it

Not gonna lie, I was a bit scared inside the cave because I had no idea what to expect lol, but again, petting the doggo made me feel a bit better

The graphics were really nice and very consistent with the low poly style

Also, destroying that green wall felt really good

Overall, I enjoyed it a lot, nice job!

I think this is the most original I've played so far

I actually played for a long time compared to others

Really nice work! I enjoyed it a lot

I really enjoyed this, plus you also have a st Bernard in your game!

I love the art design, very simple but effective, and it looks like it was hand drawn and then photocopied,

Too bad it's a bit short, but well I can't complain, ours is the same

Nice work!

Thank you!

We're really sorry we didn't have enough time, but we are going to continue developing

That is actually not a bug, it is intended..
Due to not having enough time we did get to clarify one of the main mechanics. Both dogs are afraid of something, Darwin doesn't like water and Roy is afraid of the dark. The pond is one of the puzzles involving one of their fears

(I'll make sure to add that clarification on the game page)

Really good concept!

The game feels very deep, so many decisions! And I see a lot of replayability.

The ambience is nice, it captures the mafia tone really good

Sometimes it feels a bit unfair on the missions because of the rng, but I guess that's good because it encourages you to take other decisions if you fail

It is actually hard to beat! I got shot because of bad rep :(

Suggestion: Maybe the story missions should have an accept button instead of drag mechanic

I see good potential :)

(sorry I meant to post this comment here and not on the game page)

Hint: jump around the big doggo with the little one

This is intended!, the log is the last puzzle... for now :)
