Literally just MS Paint lol. I tried following a space painting tutorial and finished by coating the whole thing with black spray paint, super inefficient.
I got a little stressed working on my sprites I admit but I hope to improve them in a future director's cut or something after the jam. Also thanks for that heads up about the web build, though I almost don't want to make it work because its super buggy :/ but thanks for your rating regardless!
That background actually took me multiple days lol. I am upset that it didn't tile well but I intended on it being the size of the full room and way miscalculated. Tysm :3
The art is really well done considering the time restraints, and so is the music. The boss was a little annoying though, the player would really benefit from a health bar during that section.
