Since they're optional, I believe you can define the limitation yourself. You could limit it to only some sprites without taking advantage of opacity to have more colors than you would've normally had.

Hey, you're game looks really good! I wanted let you know that this guy on GameJolt (PACK DEMON) reuploads a lot of games without credit and I think he stole your game: https://gamejolt.com/games/shadows/722860

Love the art, don't like the suggestive wink at the end though...

I couldn't figure out what to do, how do I paint in the cave?

Yeah, I realized that after I finished the Jam version, but I uploaded a demo for the Full Release of the game on GameJolt (since the jam isn't over Itch won't let me).

While the gameplay was a bit buggy, I really liked what you were going for and the story that set up the whole situation.

That's all a part of it, learning from your mistakes and having a good time!

I guess great minds think alike, well done!

There aren't really any instructions, I also beat the game without going to any other room by clipping through a wall with the ledge grab mechanic and I believe picking up the pet at the same time.

Liked the sleeping mechanic to change the world, well done!

It definitely looked really good though!

Can't play the game because there's no 'Notes'

While the pixel art style was fantastic (well done!) the most upsetting part was the bad English, I had quite a lot of difficulty following the story, but I did get what you were trying to do, and I thought it was a pretty good story (from what I was able to understand).

If it had some better gameplay and had some of the bugs fixed, I think this could've been a pretty good game. I still like the concept though.

Why didn't you just export the project?

I suffer from making too many 3D first-person games, yeah A & D are the only movement keys (other than Space)

Watched of your videos and I really like your content already, here's my game's link for after the jam: https://ironstudios.itch.io/flippingreality

I had an idea within the first few minutes.

Very true, but if you did what I would do is make the game PC compatible (if you could with whatever game it is)

*facepalm*

All I want to know... Full Release?!

Ok, I understand, but you could've simply put inside the instructions within the game that you can Pan & Zoom because not everyone will read the description. I downloaded the game from the voting page in the Jam. In my own game, I don't explain very well how to play in-game and most people would do things the wrong way because they just downloaded and started playing.

Still very fun game though, and I actually became the galaxy so that's cool

This is very fun and addicting, but it has very bad at explaining how it works to the player.
You can zoom and pan but nowhere does it say that you can, and it's very important.

I do like the art, very well done, but confusing at first.

Since I'm working on a full release of my game I will not be sharing my source code, but I understand what you mean

Can't play this, no PCK file.

I believe most other people are having the same problem.

My ears go boom... But still, a pretty alright game, well done.

I'm dying to see more people see my game: https://ironstudios.itch.io/homegrown

Btw, the tutorial in it changes whenever you do something (this has been a problem and has caused confusion)

This is AMAZING!
I first played it not reading the description, I was wandering around the house and was so scared of every single thing. It was only when I got attacked by a leaping monster who I was unable to shoot because I didn't know to press 1. I also think this could really be expanded upon.
Great game!

For some reason I can't go down, I can use WAD but not S. I'm just stuck in the beginning

I really like the design, the art was pretty well done. But I could NOT control this, turning from 0-100%, but I also don't understand how this followed the theme.

How does this follow the Growth theme?

I've been learning a lot about Pixel art, one of my only finished games uses Pixel Art.

I might've been making it from memory without knowing it, can't really think of a game that's done it before

Wow, that's a very good idea, 'growth' as a person, I'm interested in how the gameplay will work, will probably work much better than mine

Well made, I like the difficulty climb, and it's surprisingly polished for a jam.

I give your great game a 7/10! (also, my best score was 84.75)
