Since they're optional, I believe you can define the limitation yourself. You could limit it to only some sprites without taking advantage of opacity to have more colors than you would've normally had.

Hey, you're game looks really good! I wanted let you know that this guy on GameJolt (PACK DEMON) reuploads a lot of games without credit and I think he stole your game: https://gamejolt.com/games/shadows/722860
While the pixel art style was fantastic (well done!) the most upsetting part was the bad English, I had quite a lot of difficulty following the story, but I did get what you were trying to do, and I thought it was a pretty good story (from what I was able to understand).
If it had some better gameplay and had some of the bugs fixed, I think this could've been a pretty good game. I still like the concept though.
Watched of your videos and I really like your content already, here's my game's link for after the jam: https://ironstudios.itch.io/flippingreality
Ok, I understand, but you could've simply put inside the instructions within the game that you can Pan & Zoom because not everyone will read the description. I downloaded the game from the voting page in the Jam. In my own game, I don't explain very well how to play in-game and most people would do things the wrong way because they just downloaded and started playing.
Still very fun game though, and I actually became the galaxy so that's cool
I'm dying to see more people see my game: https://ironstudios.itch.io/homegrown
Btw, the tutorial in it changes whenever you do something (this has been a problem and has caused confusion)
This is AMAZING!
I first played it not reading the description, I was wandering around the house and was so scared of every single thing. It was only when I got attacked by a leaping monster who I was unable to shoot because I didn't know to press 1. I also think this could really be expanded upon.
Great game!
